I know mining is beta

Hey guys.

I'm glad people are having fun.

I've been thinking a lot about the mining mod lately and figuring out how it can be improved in a positive fashion which enhances the possibility of good times within Disco.

The mining mod is more in an advanced alpha stage. Myself, Cannon and Blodo are working on the Beta.

Well, Cannon is mostly just sitting there looking smart and Blodo is lying to me that things are getting done while I sit on my arse delegating to no one. But that's a kind of progress.

Hopefully the beta will clear up a lot of the issues that have cropped up in the alpha. The Omegas have some issues, a lot of them bug related following the move which is hurting the region. Others are mod related, due to 7 being way too small.

I like the Taus, but there aren't many people out there.

The Dublin thing is nice, but the fallout from it is that all of the Kusari players are in Bretonia. Kusari is sort of suffering again from lonely heart syndrome.

Hydrocarbons and stuff like that will need to wait. People in Bretonia aren't even mining Beryllium, don't need to add yet another commodity.

GMG, ALG need some love. Somewhere after that comes other groups.

More sale points need to be added.

Some systems need to be re-modded.

Some fields need to be removed. Almost entirely tiny vanilla fields which are nerfed, yet sit right outside bases so people squat them.

They make less money, but it's boring to fly up to one and watch them quickdock. Then, LO, a battleship appears. Usually working for the Order.

Anyways, glad people are having fun. Keep the feedback coming. Positive makes me feel good and work harder, constructive negative feedback makes me feel angry and rage quit.

I mean makes me nod and work smarter.
