Insanity

Perhaps I seem...out of touch. Perhaps you do not know me, or what must be done. Rest assured, my story I now tell. My name does not matter, so please, do not ask it.

I used to be insane, but not anymore. By definition, insanity is repeating the same things expecting to get a different result. Life at home, as a child, was very well structured, and I was trained well. I learned my ABCs, to read, count by twos and tie my shoes...But the one thing I never did learn until I left home was that not everyone is as fortunate as I myself was.

I suppose you want me to start from the beginning. Very well. When a man and a woman like each other, really like each...Not that far back? I was born on Freeport 4 in Magellan. My father worked as a transport pilot, ferrying supplies to and from Java Station. The pay was good enough that after a trying day at work, my mother was able to quit her job as an inventories clerk in Biodome 1 to take over my schooling. Neither of my parents had ever progressed beyond the standard schooling granted all children on their respective childhood homes, and they wanted for me to attend Cambridge University when I was old enough.
