Hey dusty, I remember a recent discussion about improving freighters, how about adding more mining freighters? I think they might give a nice compromise between long-time mining in a hegemon and long-time flying in a spatial/mafic. Please? :)

And about Hydrocarbons and improving Taus, I think the Nago field already drops them. Is there no way to just work on that? Not sure about the yields though, my Samura doesn't like to get to close to Kishiro bases;)

But yes, the mining brought us quite some fun, so kudos to the two guys who are keeping your working on it:D
