Zalus' heart raced when he heard the name call, and approached the office. He didn't move towards it exceptionally fast. Rather slow, actually. The truth was he didn't know how he needed to come off to the recruiter. Eager, show that he wants this job? Or calm, showing some maturity and restraint? An external sigh ended the internal struggle and he decided on the calm route before smoothing out the wrinkles on his attire and proceeding through the door.
His shoes stepped quietly into the office, where he saluted the person behind the desk, and asked with an even, normal voice "You asked to see me, sir?"
He hoped his heart, that beat relentlessly against his ribcage wouldn't show through his jacket, and that his thick Liberty accent wouldn't lower his chances.
