I am only a recruit, but I know weedalot pretty well.... And I have been in a number of fights... A few, yes, the CR, or just the local IMG came to the assistance of the CR, with Gunboats, or even one time, a Battleship...
And Weedalot does get upset.... A lot... At everyone... specially Carl.. But over all he seems to be hard on his recruits which makes for good roleplay, and good teamwork. He is a good leader.
Although I don't know if the reason for most members leaving was being cap whored occasionally, they certainly have left. But fighting over the conflict, specially on the forums, is not correct. And for the so called "Calm Skype Chats", they're not calm at all... Infact they're worse than on the forums. The only solution I can see, even though the CCS is already pretty much broken apart (I'm still in it), is to just set up a few clan to clan rules. Like "No coming in 5k of either Cali nor Java", and "Nothing above bomber in a fight", and even "No assistance from other people outside either clan." But that's not really my decision, at all, just my advice.
Also, from what I hear, Dave... Or Corean or what ever his name, is not active enough to be a leader.... So I really don't think he should be one.
I'm going to keep my tag, and I'm going to fight the CR, by myself, as usual, until either, the CCS clan tag is banned, I leave freelancer, or I get tired of fighting CR and run along.
I really hope you two, three, can fix this, so I don't have to fight alone anymore....

Second CCS was very important to me and i did my best to make it success.
I still believe it is a very good Faction that should be out there.
I wont give up but i wont do all the job on my own, yes dave you might take to a personal place again but the real deal is that you are bussy in RL and you cannot lead. you did help with policy you did help with RP but you didnt do any actions in game, dont get mad just think by yourself and you will see it is all true.
Zygoeths you are the most active CCS right now and this is going to change, Give me couple of weeks and you will see.

Your "clan to clan" rule proposals are all good on paper, but such things do not stick, simply because no indie who's wanting to pew pew will ever listen to the CCS or CR.
Simply cause they don't care.
I have a lot of experience with this ya know.
The 5k thing, well of course noone ever camps someone's station, but in RP Cali's turrets are not that strong as to prevent enemies from venturing within their range when in pursuit of an enemy.
Also, too much accent is put on "when you want to fight tell us and we'll go there". Fighting, contrary to popular opinion, is not the priority for us.
I just wish that for once, when I try to RP with someone, all I get is not "Die CR scum"
I mean.. at least write "Die Colonial scum".:P
But seriously, RP is failing in the taus in 80% of cases.
Swift you think i am your enemy but i am not. i tried to mke it fun for both of us and it was for a while. you cannot deny this. we were friends and i mean it. when indies OC atacked you you got mad at me and i tried to do my best to fix it. i am sure you remember those days it wasnt so long ago.
i am sure we can get back to the state we were in when CCS was in its second month. when we had arrenged fights and we didnt make each other feel so bad.
and about the RP .. please donot say we come and "Die CR engage" its not true
could say you say "hostile on dradis, fire at will" ... dont forget its Disco not BSG so no dradis here.
i say we talk about thois over skype get to a nice agrement and forget the past. i am sure there is place for improovment form both of us.
