Associate Wilhelm Huxley, Prospects Group
As acting spokesman for Prospects Group, I appeal to your ability to think rationally in this situation. Let it be known, firstly, that Prospects Group uses official IMG papers in all transactions.
All hostilities resulted due to the first strike of Colonial forces upon a small wing of Prospects Group mining ships. We had no choice but to engage in self-defense, and opportunistic Outcasts decided to enter the battle shortly thereafter.
I and Prospects Group, however, must sincerely apologize for the rude and erratic behavior of one ne'er-do-well associate who was under the considerable influence of a large amount of cardamine at the time of his entry into Tau-44. It appears that, contrary to my knowledge, this associate had not submitted required documents and obtained notary approval prior to requisitioning the vessel from Sarawak Station. This member has since been apprehended per interior punishment guidelines. Note that Prospects Group looks down strictly upon such "sniffers."
Nevertheless, it is crucial in the future that Prospects Group be cleared to purchase a fixed quantity of Nyx fighters for use in resisting Outcast expansion alongside Colonial forces. The requisitioned Nyx fighter, for reasons unexplainable, cannot be found in our docking array at the moment; however, should an agreement be unreachable, you have my word as spokesman that the ship will be scuttled and the parts returned to Sarawak Station.
I hope, after reading over this addition, that the Colonials will reconsider Prospects Group's offer of partnership and camaraderie in these trying times...
