I do sincerely apologize for not knowing you guys HATE to be called hackers. See while on defense duty for Rochester a place we gladly let you guys call home when you need it. A xeno moved into our secure zone to which I responded with force. The VR happened to come across the scene and asked if we needed help. At that time their help wasn't needed so no request was given. After a few minutes another xeno arrived and announced his intention to engage. It was at this time that I asked the VR for help. My mistake came from saying "Could you Hackers help us with this one?". To which I was told to do my homework and that you are not Hackers but Vagrant Raiders.

I understand you wanting to be your own faction but I am sure you could see how some one might mistake you guys for hackers while in the field and in combat? You are using the ID and the IFF along with their ships and weapons.

Now when the Vagrant Raiders arrived I knew who they were and had even read up on you guys some. Since I was told to do my homework I decided to check you out again and see what I had missed. What I didn't read and still haven't found is your distinct hatred of being referred to as Hackers. I'd read where you guys were using Hacker ID and IFF. I did see you tell someone who asked if you were Hackers and your response was no. Still didn't see anything showing to NEVER refer to you as Hackers. So after my very simple mistake given the circumstances you guys chose to ignore the call to help? I even went as far as to try to apologize for my mistake in private comms to which I received no response. You really should let everyone know how much you hate to be referred to as hackers. Also if that someone does happen to make a mistake and refer to you as a hacker then all bets are off. Since you've listed us as "Friends" is there any mercy given for a simple mistake? Truly hope to not make that mistake again.

It does seem that karma was watching though. Shortly after both Vagrant Raiders chose to leave me to my own defenses they were cut down by the Liberty Navy. Wonder if a Junker was around to save your escape pod?

Hope you guys get your own faction and ID soon. That way it will be clear to anyone who sees you. Whether they are in combat or at first glance.
