Vanished?

Captain Log. Stardate 20051212.2359

We are back in the orbit of Kurile now. We found no survivors from the attack. Mostly because the other ships reached the battle site first, and rescued the survivors.
We found some nomad fighters in our way back to kurile, but our new directed-energy turrets made quick work of them...

I had notice from Admiral dab. He told me he was able to rescue a few survivors from the debris of the aerus.

While we were on the aerus debris field, we found some escape pods. Unfortunately they occupants were already dead, but not from being exposed to open space. they were dead before the hull of the escape pod collapsed.
The doctor is now doing an autopsy to one of the corpses, so we can figure out how they died...
