Lafiel was standing talking to the Alfred von Summers of an Earl of Leeds. He seemed pretty harmless he was here with his wife to which he had lost somewere else in the manor she was listening as he gave his opinion of the war and how Bretonia was doing when suddenly Lafiel's blood went cold she had felt warm and happy moments ago like everyone was happy. She then turned as she overheard the voice belonging to the person that had made her uncomfortable before. The man that was dressed funny he had his arm around a lady now lafiel observed for a moment trying to see what it was about him that made her feel this way she laughed to herself she was being silly nothing was wrong with them they just had a very interesting way of dressing not like one can feel other peoples emotions. Lafiel suddenly saw someone leaning up against a wall observing everyone else her heart leapt as surprise registered on her face. She suddenly forgot the two strange people chit chatting with a rather large gentleman. Lord Von Summers cut into her thoughts, "Is everything alright Lady Tarrant?" Lafiel turned back to him gave him a slight bow, "I'm sorry my Lord Von Summers you will have to exscuse me a moment." The Earl nodded giving a bow, "Certainly my Lady Tarrant. It has been a pleasure."
After disentangling herself from the Earl and his long conversation she dodged around the strange couple making sure to blend in with the crowds movements as she got closer there was no doubt whom it was in denim pants and a grey vest. He hadn't noticed her approach till it was too late for him to do anything about it. Lafiel moved in front of him as she stepped forward to him wrapping her arms around him moving ever so graceful, the element of surprise being on her side allowing her to hug him before he could protest. She spoke with both surprise and cheer, "Goodmen so lovely for you to come along I wasn't sure if you were coming or not you didn't reply to the invitation I'm so glad your here."
