We begun our patrol in the Frankfurt system with the esdeemed [color=#33CC00]Admiral Malte on board the RNC Carinthia and [color=#33CC00]Hauptfeldwebel Weissman, to track down a squad of Hessian terrorists, disrupting the internal security and economy of Rheinland with pirating different convoys of cargo transport ships passing torwards Kusari.
Once I stocked up on cookies and chewing gums bought from a bunch of grumpy traders on Mainz, I fetched my Schmetterling and reported to space, where the patrol was already going on! We did a few circles around the system, but just as we were about to leave, my communicator intercepted some scribble, embraced by a vast level of static. The signals were quite unusual though, not the default infected trader, but something else, a "blue code specimen", as Admiral Malte kept referring to it.
Hauptfeldwebel Weissman and I were told to set up a blockade near Mainz and then near the Sigma-13 jump gate, while scanning all ships passing through, looking for the source of the repeated signal. At that point, something happened to my systems, erm... taking them all offline. I don't know what it was exactly though, as I lost my memory aswell. *Giggles.* Ja, I think I crashed into something, still don't know what happened.
As soon as I regained my consciousness, we were to move out to the Sigma-13 gate at once. Followed by a few minutes of waiting, we jumped, but... *takes a deep breath*... directly into ein AMBUSH!
The patrol wing found itself surrounded by an amount of blue spirits and a black hunk of iron, some Junker ship I guess. I managed to get a picture of it with my Schmetterling's gun-camera!

Ja, it does seem to look like a Junker ship, but it did not act as one. We determined that the earlier comms signals we got in Frankfurt originated from this thing. I couldn't make out a word he said, so I actually determined it was some Libertonian spy drone. It also had some minions, but they were only a little similar to the Libertonian Junker spydrone itself. They were rather slippery and quick, also transmitting weird signals, duh. I assembled a whole scientific fauna presentation album of my gun-camera shots! *Giggles.*

I also did some research into these spirits, afterwards. I determined they were the decendants of a species died on ancient Earth, called the flying fish.

All notions of scientific approach aside, we were almost immediately shot at by the specimens of Flying fish, which has some sorts of plasma lances erupting from their noses. The lances did some remarkable damage, also managing to cripple the [color=#33CC00]Carinthia. We could have saves the gunboat, if it was not for a rouge Kusarian gunboat approaching! I got the reading on one bearing an early, yet clearly Naval Forces registration code, the KNS Kataki. On the attached guncam evidence, it can clearly be seen plundering the Carinthia!

Me and Weissman were busy shooting the fishes to protect the Korvette, thus it was brought down by the Junker-Libertonian and the Kusarian gunboats. The Junker-Libertonian one was heavily damaged, forced to pull out under the cover of the Kusarian one. We were left alone against the [color=#FF6600]flying fish, shooting them down one by one.
Eventually, Feldwebel Kreuzchen showed up to assist, even though more mutants arrived, we were successful at countering them. Two of the jellyfish were left alive, but they both suddenly left off, obviously their spineless plasma couldn't take any more of our Tachyon.
Rheinland Macht!

We then patrolled the nebula with Feldwebel Drum, while the rest of the wing went back to do repairs. Herr Drum said he was looking for the two hostile gunboats, but he took my ship ridiculously deep in the nebula... if you might... *coughs* excuse me.
So once we were done without finding either the Kusarian or the Junker gunboat, we went back to Frankfurt, where we met an anxious civilian. He started shouting about himself being really angry and that he was going to kill us. We kept igoring him at first, but he really provoked a fight at Mainz!

He started shooting at Mainz station, then fleeing from the stations turrets. It was a rather hilarious sight at first. *Chuckles.*
Then he started attempting to kill us aswell! That was the point when we switched to a serious state. We powered our weapons to counter his assault, but he just ran into a razor shot by Feldwebel Drum, and got his ship ripped apart.
