The path of Prospector

York was in his chambers getting ready for sleep when red alert was sounded off. He got dressed and rushed to Ouray command room to see what is happening. Base commander was already there.

- Oh, good, you are here. We have some problems it seems.

- What is happening? - York asked

- We have several enemie vessels on scanners. Seems like SA capital ship with fighter wing as escort. We dispatched Frank Lewis to investigate.

- Good. Prepare Prospector and my eagle...I will be taking them out.

York took out in Prospector. Gunboat was docked for very long time and York was happy to see that it is in great condition. Soon after undocking Prospectors scanners found SA gunboat near New York jump hole. Frank Lewis was there already. York dropped out of cruise and immediately started to shoot at enemies gunboat. Pilot of SA vessel seemed surprised by Prospectors power. SA vessel was losing it shields very fast. While SA continued to fire at Franks light fighter York had clear shots to SA gunboat. Liberty gunboat couldn't take that much pounding and after short fight it was destroyed.
York ordered retreat to Ouray base. Both Xeno vessels docked at Ouray and prepared to face incoming fighter wing. York left Prospector in docking bay 3 and rushed to his eagle that was waiting him in dock bay 5. Frank and York, both undocked at the same time. And no moment too late. LSF fighter was on scanners and both Xenos attacked him on sight. Unfortunately Franks light fighter with out armor upgrade was destroyed very soon if the fight, but once again York managed to tractor his escape pod. Now only Yorks eagle was between Ouray base and LSF vessel. Once again York had a good day and LSF fighter was destroyed after hard fight. Yorks eagle didn't suffer any damage. Other LSF fighters retreated and Ouray base way safe once again.
York returned to Ouray, ordered to some low level fighters to guard base and surrounding space and went back to his room. It was a long day and time for rest finally came.
