A Rheinland Story

It had been a long night, Johannes thought. That's why he had gone to the bar in the first place. A very long night indeed. As he drank yet another shot of vodka he tried to wave over the waiter again. Who promptly cuthim off.

"Johannes! Enough already! Dammit, man you've been drunk for hours already."

"I VILL TELL YOU WHEN I AM READY TO STOP DRINKING."

He was angry. At what he didn't know, but he sat back down figuring that he shouldn't make a scene. He sobbed quietly at his table. Ever since he began having 'Those nightmares' again last night he couldn't get back to sleep. He whispered through the sobs.

" I just..vant..to forget...too much pain.."

He leaned back and stared at the table in front of him, slightly in a daze. The alcohol having been in his system for a long time now. He didn't care how much he drank, he just wanted his pain to just disappear.
