A young looking man walks up to the recruitment desk and looks at the recruitment officer.
'So is this where I enlist.'
'Yes, you can sign up for the Bretionian Armed Forces here but I need to do a quick background check first.'
He shuffles his feet and stands straight, a true military man's pose.
'Ok, I'm alright with that, shoot.'
'I just need to ask you your name, age, birthplace, current and past employment, special skills and reasons for signing up.'
'Name, Cameron Brannick. Age, 23. Birthplace, Planet Leeds. Currently unemployed but spent two years as a freighter pilot and fighter escort for various companies. My special skills are that I'm a great tactician in the heat of a fight, I'll always look after my fellow pilots, I'm a good pilot myself and I studied at Cambridge for two years and came top of my class. As for reasons for signing up, I realised that I live here in Bretonia with my pregnant wife and I want my child to be able to see a safe Bretonian controlled space, I don't want those Gallia or anyone taking over, so I'm signing up for a better future for my child.'
He stands strong but emotion begins to build in his eyes.
'Ok, thank you, I just have to pass this to the higher ups and you should hear from us soon.'
'Thank you very much.'
He begins to walk out.
'Oh I have one request if I am recruited.'
He stops and turns.
'Send me right where the action is, if I'm part of the BAF, I want to do as much as I can while I can.'
