Then make them random. Make the guns random. They appear ONCE per week/month. Prehaps make the wreck location random too.

1) The prices will go up exponentially. You think they're expensive now? Pfft.
2) People will figure out the pattern eventually, and exploit their knowledge of the system, to create #1. And those people will suddenly have oodles more credits then you will.
