I'm getting tired of hearing all this whining about the battleship terrors. I for one have yet to log a single PvP kill. There's what, 5 or 6 of us in the battleship terror faction? I don't think i've ever seen more than 2 of us on at the same time, and usually off doing something else anyway. The blockade was announced to spark up a little excitement around here, not a forum flame war. 2 ships can NOT cover the 50 something systems available for trade. Someone in new tokyo that you don't feel like dealing with? DON'T GO TO NEW TOKTO! It's not a hard concept to master. Either face a little bit of risk or trade one system over. You don't have to putz back in forth between the absolute maximum profit route, a blockade on one end of that route makes it something more of an accomplishment to be earned.

And another thing, what's all this b*tching about how we have battleships and you don't? You think we joined and were given $40 million for signing up? No, we worked our asses off to trade/fight our way to the ships we're flying. You better believe that if someone parked something we couldn't handle on our favorite trade route we'd find another favorite trade route. Instead of whining about it you could be out earning money somewhere to get your own battleship.

Aside from when i'm pissed off at people who refuse to do something about thier situation (as may be apparent above), i'm actually a rather agreeable person. As wrath mentioned previously in another thread, we routinely help out new members with financial assistance and whatnot. On more than one occasion i've hauled one of my ships up to the unknowns to help new fighters get nomad weapons. We're not a bunch of bloodthirsty PvPers, we're just looking for something a bit more exciting than hauling the same load over the same route for uncountable hours on end.
