Well, if you want so much control, maybe make your own mod, own server, etc.? Seriously, why not. Everyone can do this. Just lots of ini file mess and everything, lots of time - no special knowledge required.

It would be much better - in terms of story - that we had one faction for every three Border Worlds divisions and for each House. Or maybe some of them united. Omicrons not controlled by anyone at all. Of course if I'm going to somehow 'integrate' our server factions into the mod, Corsairs and Outcast will not have a common faction inside their territory, let alone nomad worlds. That's just nonsence.

I don't think that AW should control any more than it has now, and if it should, only through fighting with other factions. That is, equal fighting.

And as we are talking about faction RP here, how about abolishing all existing factions and make players join existing Freelancer factions - corsairs, outcasts, BHs, criminals, navy? It's possible to do this, and it's done on many RP servers.
