Actually that sounds fair daedalus. :)
If you are hostile towards the house police and armies, and always show up red I would expect no mercy from you, and would accept it. Because then you would truly be a pirate.
But meeting someone who shows up as neutral or friendly and just blows you up, isn't really roleplaying or anything. That's just mean. If they gave a warning, demanded money, or just plainly challenged you for a duel, then that would be fine.
Regarding the F1 thingy: yes, it doesn't really have anything to do with the roleplay of the game. But to be frank I too would use F1 in a freighter. But it would depend on the situation. If I was flying around and had lots and lots of money, I probably wouldn't do it. Then I could afford the loss. But if I had just spent a lot of money buying a new freighter/transporter then I probably couldn't afford loosing the cargo, then I would use F1.
Rather annoying being a trader with no money, trust me I've tried it. :P
