Pleasantview Lounge and Cafe

Located aboard [TAZ]Med.Force.One the Pleasantview Lounge was considered by the medical staff and visiting dignitaries to be one of the best views of the stars and one of the best places to unwind after a long day's work. Medical personnel often mingled with the ship's command staff as well as with visiting scientists and medical people and the occasional recovering patient or passerby. It was here that even would-be enemies occupied the same area.



It was a grand lounge with much of the food grown on ship in the biodomes. Other food stores came in from all over Sirius. The bar was well stocked in the same way. Malted beverages from Rheinland, Coalition vodka, Gallic Wine, Saki and Liberty Ale were readily available. Even those harder to get exotics from Planet Crete, Malta and from other groups.

Although the ship's command staff was responsible for it's operation, a young Rheinland girl found a home on ship after being left for dead in an escape pod in the Omegas. With a newborn child and no family to return home to, she was given work in the cafe.



Considering her recent ordeals, young Doreen Nagger, all of 19 years old, was discovered to be a hard worker. With her father's trial ongoing in Rheinland, she wasn't always the friendly sort as she also spent much time learning to deal with her trust issues. Complicating that was her ongoing efforts to give up cigarettes. When she was off duty, it was another job in itself to not sneak a smoke.
If things weren't too busy, she might chat with a patron. If she was busy, her attitude matched her beauty if needed and she really didn't care to open up about herself.

Live entertainment was another frequent occasion there ranging from a string quartet up to a rock band. Most of the time, however, it was that of a brass ensemble with a piano for a relaxed atmosphere. When life was brutish aboard the ship, it was otherwise good at the Pleasantview Lounge.
