Two or three days ago I took part in a battle between our Naval forces and a number of Blood Dragons and assorted unlawfuls. In the midst of battle the IKN-Hikari no Ame was severly damaged, and my crew and I were forced to eject using our escape pods.
For 5 hours we waited, for the battle to finish and the rescue crews to reach us (we were far from the only casualties). We were brought back to base to recover, but repairs to the ship were expected to take weeks.
Eager to return to work I began patrols in my Chimaera, through Tau space and the border of Kyushu. Activity seen has been steady trading, with few encounters of note.
Today, however, the most unexpected new arrived. Our ship has been repaired! The modern, modular construction techniques of Kishiro technologies allowed a complete rebuild of the ship in less than 48 hours! Such a feat hardly seems possible, but this surely speaks poorly for the aging technology of Bretonia when our fearsome ships can be rebuilt so quickly.
We will not fail the Emperor by allowing ourselves to fall so easily every again.
