Scamming in the ship sale?

The seller of a ship is the current owner of it.

If he decides to sell a Roc for 10 millions, he can do so.
If he realizes it is worth 30 millions, he can say "sorry lad, not going to happen. I raised my minimum bid to 30millions"

He can ask for 200million for his roc too.

Also he can reject the 200 millions in the verry last moment and say "sorry, auction closed I want to keep it"


Up to the seller.


If credits have been transferred after the deal was made, then the seller has to hand over the ship.
That would be scam, if he would not hand over the hardware.


Before someone asks:

If you send the seller 200million credits, before he wrote "sold to x" it is your fault, since you can not claim his ship.
Otherwise I'll go and send the next auction guy the initial bid of his LABC and claim his ship.
Scam can work in two directions.

To be safe screenshot the credit transfer you made with a timestamp and also post in the auction topic that you actually accepted the terms when the seller wrote down "sold to x".
