I took the Magpie out on a raid, deep into Kusari territory, in order to acquire some of the raw materials we need for the upkeep of the Dagabaz. From Tau-23 I was able to enter Kyushu undetected, and headed immediately for the jump hole in Hokkaido. From there I pointed the Magpie in the direction of the gate into New Tokyo itself.

Nearing the gate, Hector initiated the hack, utilising the codes provided to us by Jack.



He never fails us, that man. the gate cracked open like a hazelnut, and we slipped through into New Tokyo itself.

Our first target was the Samura depot at Yokohama. We dived in from above, strafing the depot as we passed, and tractoring in what fell out, before re-engaging the cruise engines, and beating a hasty retreat.



Monitoring the airwaves showed no sign of naval or police activity, so we turned our attentions towards Narita. Much less well defended, we boldy sidled up to the depot there, knowing their puny weaponry was no threat to the Magpie.



Pillaging the depot as the station commanders screamed their obscenities at us cheered the crew no end, as they stacked our newly purloined possessions in the cargo bays.

Honshu was next, and using the jump hole conveniently close to Narita, we again entered the system undetected and made a beeline for Yukawa shipyards.



Using similar tactics to those that served so well earlier at Yokohama, our holds were soon bulging. It seems, however, that they have some sort of jamming systems at the shipyards. Our camera arrays suffered a mysterious failure when in the vicinity of the station, so no doubt the Kusari will deny the raid ever occurred.

From there we cut across the system to Osaka, finding yet more unprepared depots ripe for our picking.



By this time word of our presence had escaped, and we turned tail and headed back to Hokkaido. Bolstered by our successful evasion of the Kusari forces sent out to waylay us, the crew insisted on raiding some of the DSE depots known to exist near the trade lane construction sites. Who am I to refuse their desires?



From there it was an easy run all the way back to Tau-23. The Kusari had buried their collective headsin the sand, yet again.

Should help us with the upkeep of the Dagobaz! I'm intending to use the scrap metal I picked up to start on construction of the brewery in one of the disused starage areas within the construction site, while the water appears to be of the highest quality, and will also be excellent in the brewing process. Soon we'll have the ale flowing! The first batch will be named Wright's Snorter.
