Return of The Ghosts

It is believed that when you die in battle that's it, your gone never to be seen again everyone has one life and as one life ends another begins somewhere else.
And for the majority of those who perish this is the case, but once dead they are not completely gone for their soul has one last journey to make. The journey to the Underworld; realm of the Undead! Where all are judged and dealt with accordingly! Most who enter the underworld never leave its gates as they have done in life what they have set out to do.

But then there is the 'Others,' those who feel life has been unfair to them, those with a thirst of revenge against whoever did wrong to them in Life! These 'Others' these lost souls have a rage within them that the Pits of Hell herself could not contain, they are unlike any other soul found in the Underworld they are evil incarnate and against those seek vengeance there is no escape!
Rather than risk war in the Underworld and complete Armageddon,

"The Boatman" Guardian of the Underworld Gates allowed these 'Others' these Ghosts to go Free!!

On the Condition that whenever they left the Underworld they must pay "The Boatman" a given number of SOULS. If the Ghost did not have enough Souls then they were not permitted to Leave, and spent the rest of Eternity wallowing in their own Disgust! "The Boatman" was clever as he had a means to Imprison more innocent souls whose times had not come yet! While keeping the Underworld free of these Demonic Spirits that would otherwise reak Havoc in his Realm!

One begs to think who truely is more evil? the ghost lapdogs (The "Ghost.Ships" or "The Boatman" himself.
These Ghosts which are set free to Prey upon the Living! In Sirius are of the form of Ships once good and loyal to their Corsair Nation, all have met with Miserable Fates! The few that have heard stories of these Ghost Ships have wondered why they were all Corsair Vessels, the main rumor amongst Storytellers is that its because of the Pagan, Cannibalistic nature of the Starving Corsair people who engage in sadistic rituals, and the worship of Heathen Gods, like the legend of "The Boatman". They are said to be a cursed race and thus all that is corsair is Cursed by the Gods and doomed to meet Ill Fate including the Corsair Ships!

The first Ghost Ship was sighted by an Outcast Patrol in the Siniestre Cloud of Omicron Alpha in 817AS. Apparently while on Routine patrol an Outcast saw off his Port Bow, a Dark Shadow appear from nowhere through the Thick Green Fog. Thinking that he had exceeded his Cardamine dose the Pilot checked his Hud Scanner and saw only wing mates in Range of his ship, so he turned again to double check and realized it was a Corsair Osiris *he GASPED* as the Ship he referred to as the "Spagna" flew straight through him and began to open Fire on his Wing Men leaving nothing but Smoldering Metal floating around his ship.
Quick to engage his Cruise Engines the Outcast managed to return to Ibiza Base in a Wrecked Sabre that resembled nothing more than a Dagger! So shocked by his experience the Outcast was locked up in Malta's Sanitarium and later died of Cardamine Withdrawal symptoms.

Since then there were numerous other sightings and Rumors of whole Fleets of Fighters and MNS Battleships vanishing without a trace, People blamed the Spagna but no one else ever returned alive after Crossing its path. Ghost Stories continued to spread but they could never be proved so the disappearances were just labeled ''Lost in Action!".

Now much time has passed and the "Spagna" has but yet has returned to his eternal place of resting and is forever damned in everlasting hell. He shall be missed by those who severed him or lie witness to his massacres. Your ***SCREAMS*** well echo in the infinite space and be feared by all those who welcome its call. But where one falls another gets up. In his place where he had left there was one who still stood by watching and waiting for his time to seek revenge on "the unworthy".

At first "The Boatman" only had one Lapdog to collect souls for him and for some time to. He wanted another but had to wait until there was a 2nd Fatality!
Another Osiris was destroyed, her Whole crew vaporized and their Souls delivered right to the Boatmans door! The same ploy as before this new Osiris was just as eager to wreak Revenge upon the Mortal World as the "Spagna" . The "S.Spiegel" agreed to the Boatmans terms and became his newest lapdog, his "Soul Collector".

Sightings of the Osiris "S.Spiegel" began in Omicron Delta and then later in Theta where reports came in of the Cursed Ship attacking Civilian Zoner Bases it was rumored hundreds died in Mortar Blasts at the Freeports! And again rumour spread over the vanishing of Small Zoner and BHG Task groups!
it was not until one day on Freeport 10 that a Zoner and an Outcast Smuggler got talking in the bar about ghosts and Ghost Ships when they began telling stories of Haunted Osirises mercilessly killing innocents and leaving no traces of the attacks. The names "Spagna" and "S.Spiegel" were mentioned over and over only then did they realise, these were no Bedtime Stories and that infact their peoples faced a new Nemesis in the Wake!

Untill recently Has this "S.Spiegel" been seen in the Omicrons and Omega yet again prepared to take the souls of the fallen and Inocent. Seeking the souls to gain his freedom from the grasp of the Underworld and the "Boatman" grip. Although the origin of the "Ghost.Ships" remains corsair in heritage, as they once were loyal servants, It seems the fate of any allies or assistance is non-existent and only the "Ghost.Ship" itself can decide if they (Bio-masses) are worthy enough to keep their pathetic souls.

Restrictions:

Not to fire any and all ships for the Sake of collecting souls. All Engagements are roleplay based during which Souls will be Collected!
Engagements with zoners are to be kept to a minimum only to engage if fired upon first! No Docking on any Zoner bases or use of their Technology on said Ghost Ships!
Any ally/s who feel threatened by our presence should not be! as we are Not here to Hunt Everyone, but if fired on by any allied ship should expect Return Fire and their Soul/s to be collected in consequence!

Entry Requirements:

Must have Good RP in general and be knowledgeable about how to RP a ghost, and what a ghost does? Knowledge of Server Rules is a must. All Entrants are required to have a Corsair Guard Fighter / Bomber / Gunboat with appropriate ID and IFF before flying with us! And while on Trial they will do so as Indy Ghosts until such a time as a decision is made whether to allow them in or not! Of Which would be a group decision!
