Err, Roleplay or what ?

It's very hard to fix the good tag, i mean the same tag that match with the ID. I have the Outcast ID but my tag is Hacker. And I tried and I tried. I had kruger tag, blood dragons, CD, junker, red hessians and now lane hacker but never outcast (lol).

And, in the rules, if I understood well, we have to scan the player's ID before any hostile action. Is it true ?

ps : you know, I'm a french canadian and it's possible that i don't catch some language subtlety. Excuse me !

I agree.
RP align must not be disregarded. But keeping the right tag is complicated.
Even I have an Asgard ship with zoner ID and corsair tag. Even when I got all correctly set up, killing so many BHG NPC made the corsairs love me...
And let alone my Gaian ship with merc ID and Police tag. Dunno how that one messed up. I guess i took the wrong bribe at some point...

I have the outcast ID, outcast ship and I did and I do only outcast missions but I cannot have the outcast tag. I tried and I tried. Why, I don't know. Maybe that the outcast have the same (+ or -) allies and ennemies that hackers, Bloody dragon...

If you can tell me the solution, I'll be happy !!! ;-)

I think it's not a real problem if the tag faction is near the id faction (like my situation). But, I agree, it's a problem if you a have a bounty hunter tag and have a outcast id.
