Alexandra looked at Jim as if surprised at what he had said, she looked towards the door and timidly made her way to it. Jim smartly moved in front of her and lightly opened the door. She had not seen the captain for some days and had often wondered if she was ever going to see his face again. She looked at his face and then down to the meals that he had brought. The excitement of talking to him again overwhelmed her and she smiled uncontrollably as she was led down the corridor to the dining hall. He motioned to her to sit and gently placed the meal in front of her, she smiled back and he sat in front of her.
