They make a massive point that they ARE NOT IMG, just close partners. RPing as a Colonial on IMG ID just goes against everything they apparently beleive in :|

We currently have, I believe, a robot or two who love us, like Colonial.Friend.Z11 (who is super best by the way), and more relevantly to what you were saying, a Freelancer Susanna.Nestel with a Raven's Talon and FL IFF/ID. If you'd like to play a Colonial Citizen, have you tried asking the faction members how they feel about it? That's how Nestel got approval for it, and it's pretty polite to do so.

Well, thats the thing, even if they are originally an import, I think the RP is beleivable and good enough to be built upon by the ENTIRE community, not just faction members. A faction member isn't going to speak in argument over another faction member about something, but an indy would.

Correct me if I'm wrong but am I getting the undertone here that you want to make Colonial indies so you can argue with Colonial faction members? That's not really the most warm way to introduce your intentions, really.

the Colonial back-story seems interesting and the Colonial RP would seem fun to do, but the main reason I'm not a Colonial is that to be a Colonial I would have to join the faction, and I don't want myself associated with the lulwuttery that some Colonials have shown. What have the Colonials done to elevate themselves to a position of the SCRA and the Phantoms or the Wilde. They haven't they're no different than most other factions other than that they are an import faction, the ID shouldn't be restricted to the faction only. Instead let us make some Colonial Indies...

As I believe bobo said, keep it from being a flame thread, and this is just pointless flaming. You're basically saying you love our RP and backstory but our faction is a bunch of lolwuts so you don't want to join. That is not what I'd call keeping it civil, nevermind it's a crock.
