Lisia's History...........

Lisia was a 21 year old girl from Cambridge. She had just finished 6 years at the Cambridge Military Academy and her father, the priest, was looking forward to seeing his daughter start her military career. She, on the other hand, was tired of taking countless orders and officers barking in her ear all day. She had just nearly spent her entire teenage life as a formal slave. So she looked at the listing for contracted and private military organizations. A few caught her eye , but one had been formed around a church; She thought that maybe her father would cut her some slack if she enlisted to work in a military church.
She thought [color=#FFFFFF]"Children of Bretonia, sounds patriotic" and shipped out a week later.
When she arrived, Lisia was glad to see it was actually a quite clean and formal operation. The men all marched around in units and formal uniforms and it differed very little from the military academy. Her dad would like to see her here indeed; he was not only a priest but a veteran of the Kusari Wars.
She made her way to the worship section of the temple. (The first odd thing she noticed was that the command levels, barracks and everything were all within the complex know as the temple, as if it all centered around the church) When she arrived, she was greeted with a warm embrace by the other 23 priestesses. as if they had know her all her life. She was not used to this; her mother and father had rarely ever even hugged in the house and this made her feel very welcome. The priestesses took her by the hand to show her to the room assigned to her and it took her though the back of the main hall. She stood in awe to see a four story holographic figure of a beautiful woman, sitting cross-legged, in bright golden light. She then realized that this church was not for the Lord but for a goddess she had never heard of. The little father in her head told her otherwise but she had been sheltered all her life and curiosity got the best of her.

Five years later...........

[color=#FFFFFF]Iggy: This is Iggy of the Tuetorix.
I am docking on pad 7; tell the political transport that we will be 20 minutes late.

Iggy: Damn I hate these talks and these damn "political" types.
Iggy: the SF has been quite rash in the last few meetings. I don't think these negotiations are getting us anywhere!
Nav Officer: Sir we are entering lower atmosphere
Iggy: You think with all the Pirate and Terrorist prisoners we have been bringing back, they would be a bit more grateful.
Iggy: In the terms I have offered, we have been reduced to SF slaves and this damn (Wheer Wheer) Prinz. Eugen character is still (Wheer Wheer) not happy.
Iggy: I think (Wheer Wheer) he has something up (Wheer Wheer) his sleeve, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT DAM ALARM JENSEN.
Nav Officer: Sir we have an SF gunboat wing on our starboard, they have locked weps.

[SF]Gunboat Officer: Hail Tuetorix, this is the Bradbury.
[SF]Gunboat Officer: Power down weapons and divert to the marked nav.
Iggy: What in all her righteousness is going on here!
[SF]Gunboat Officer: You are to land on pad four at the SF coordination depot.
[SF]Gunboat Officer: Your ship has been detained to pad four until your captain has met with [SF]-Prinz. Eugen.
Nav Officer: your orders sir?
Iggy: Bring her down. Jensen I need an order for all posts to be manned and all auxiliary personnel to report to barracks.
Nav Officer: Yes sir?

Ryoken and Gordon sit in the Tuetorix lounge Blue, slowly sipping on the special for that night, which was somthing like an everclear nose blaster and should never be sipped. Both were worried about what was happening. Gordon said that we most likely had a wanted felon on the civilian levels. Ryoken said maybe Prinz wants to come down and personally pin medals to our chests. Then after a disturbingly loud session of laughter Ryoken dismissed his angle and reinforced Gordons fabrication.
Then they saw, out the porthole, that the ship had lifted off and was returning to orbit. Both raced back up to the command deck brimming with curiosity.

Ryoken: what the hell hap-
Gordon: Cap, what going on! (breathing heavily)
Nav Officer: Sir we have upper orbit..
Iggy: It seems the SF have had enough of us in Bretonia. I think it is because of our goddess Tara.
Gordon: How can they just-?!
Iggy: We are to be disarmed and disbanded. The Temple is going to be cleared out and replaced with a Bowex supply depot.
Iggy: The only reason we got to take off again is because I gained Prinz's trust enough that he is letting me disarm the fleet myself.
Ryoken: So we are going to make a run for it!
Iggy: No, it is over man, deal with it. Go back to your farm in North Edsill.
Iggy: I thought by doing it myself I could minimize arrests and casualties in our own ranks. We are done.
(Ryoken goes storming off in a rage)

Gordon: But cap we-
Iggy: You too Gordon, I know you were a lawyer before we met. It makes good money now go visit your parents.
(Gordon slowly sombers to the docking level and sees Ryoken's manta out the porthole)
Gordon: There he goes, I will probably see him in a New London prison next.
Gordon retires to Cambridge and visits his folks.

Two week later and the fleet is almost completely disarmed.....

All the Priests and Priestesses scramble about in a frenzy as they have not been informed of how the disarming will effect them. Most pray with loud voice and try to scare the others into intense worship, saying it is the only way. Fearing the worst, Many call out to their family and make outside connections to assure them an esacpe out of the Children of Bretonia and back into normal life. But some remain still, a devout group 16 Priestesses and 2 Priests do not waver. The head priest of this goup is convinced that this event will not effect her most righteous goddess Tara or her house of worship.
He continues planning holidays and worship events on Cambridge and lists new openings in the temple. In this most grave of times for the military of Tara, he decides it best to show Tara's happiness and good will to its commander. So he constructs an envoy to perform the Nurturing Dance of the Goddess. It is a beautiful dance of 21 females circling the room in a rotating fashion that simulates the movement of growth and new life.
He had planned it to be on the day before final decommission of the fleet as to be a sending off of sorts. The fleet's weapons and equipment had been compiled aboard a gunboat and was scheduled to land at Dunnby military base in 8 hours. When the Temple's shuttle docked on the gunboat The head priest went forward to introduce the envoy.
The priestesses shuffled down the hallway muttering to each other with their golden-orange robes flowing behind them. When they neared the bridge one could hear sharp voices. The 21 priestesses entered the bridge with a shutter just as Iggy was screaming at the head priest to stop his daydreams and go home. A heated argument had broken between the two men, the priest seemed to rage with malice at Iggy screaming even louder. The lead priestess was a fanatic, she could hardly believe what was happening she had pledged her life to the goddess and now it might all just disappear. She boils inside at the thought of how she was a lead priestess and comes to display a dance and in a few hours it wont matter and she might even face charges in court for her devotion. The men rage on, there faces inching ever closer to each other, yelling as loud as they can but then the priest pauses as Iggy rages on. Even as Iggy is screaming like his life depended on it the crowd feels a deafening hush fall upon the room as they focus on the lead priestess (26 year old Lisia) holding Iggy's pistol to his back. Iggy suddenly notices the change in the room and swiftly turns around to look her in the eye as she shoots him in the heart.
The bridge is stunned and before the guards start to move she is exiting the room and the clot of priestesses stumbles up the guards. After the guards round the corner into the hall, it finally sunk in and the upper levels became frantic with men tripping and women screaming.

Gordon had been sitting in engineering, sulking, and awaiting his fate but then was distracted by and indicator for cockpit entry.
Gordon: Hay uhhhhhh..... they aren't doing any more maintenance on the outside.
Gordon: You cant be taking any shuttle pods out right now.... Ok?......
Lisia: What, hello shhhhhhit--et-------- (women's voice)
Security: Gordon! Iggy was just assassinated by a church girl, I need you to keep an eye on which doors are opening!
Suddenly it all came together in his head, he shut off his com and tripped over his gun belt as he jumped up. He flew up to the docking bay door with a thud, pulled out his pistol and slinked in.

Gordon: So you did it then?
Lisia: Yes, can we go now please.
Gordon: No, we cant just run in a shuttle. How far could it get and how many people want to catch us, huh!
Gordon: we need to gather as many as we can if we are going anywhere.
Lisia: I know all the congregation will come.
Gordon: Well I know the security officer and his men are with me. the loyalists aboard will have to be detained in the hold.
Gordon: The problem is that this ship doesn't have the gate codes. It can't leave the system.
Gordon: I will have to go back to my manta on base. That's why I brought a rental ship today.



Gordon: I got there and an engineer was already downloading the logs.
Gordon: But it was just him so I clocked him on the head and got the codes.
Gordon: And, "CHA CHING" I got the account number to the CoB funding pool.
Gordon: I had it transferred to a bank on a junker base in the Omega-15. Its the only place I could find that wouldn't turn us in.

Just then Gordon's ship explodes and through the ball of fire comes a wing of four heavy BAF fighters.
FighterCap: CoB gunboat, stand down and return to planet.
FighterCap: You are under arrest for treason, murder, embezzlement-
Lisia grew a determined look on her face and gave coordinates to Cadiz. It seemed at every lane gap the authorities had be notified seconds before.
The shields held at 23.356% as the gunboat moved into open space outside Cambridge research station. But the base, that Gordon had unknowingly alerted had sent ahead a battle group to sit on the Omega-5 jump.



Lisia managed to take out one of their gunboats but would never have made it unless that cloud of corsair fighters came pouring through the whole.
The gunboat still had an altered {C} contact code and half of the corsairs began to swarm the ship.

Gindee: STOP! I know these pukes. They been on the news all morning.
Gindee: Stand down and bring them in.

Lisia was brought to Cadiz and sent with and armed escort to the junkers bank.
And so she brings the future of the Children of Bretonia into existence and the goddess Tara to the rest of Sirius.

OOC: I know some of this conflicts with how the NPCs work and maybe you think that some of the things said reflect badly upon actual conduct. But remember.
This is just a story, it is just a game and I am just having RP fun.
I don't actually hate the SF or its members.
