I also find it hilirous you claim souls and ghost don't exist in our world. Again, while I don't belive in ghosts (I do believe that we all have souls) I dare you to provide concrete proof that supports they don't and/or cannot exist. So no, your Not even Wrong hammer doesn't apply. The fact is, you can't open you mind. You can't stand that other people don't agree with you.

Please remember that "open-minded" means just that - willingness to consider new ideas. It does not come with the requirement to accept them, especially if they are totally, utterly unscientific. In fact, consider: you cannot explain something, therefore you make your statement that we all have souls (you cannot explain something, therefore you can explain it - fallacy much?). And you also refuse to accept science, you say "you cannot prove that it does not exist, therefore it MUST exist". Doesn't that make YOU close-minded?

(Also, I'd like you to explain why souls are feasible, and ghosts aren't. I'm honestly interested.)

I could careless if you are a member of the story dev team, until Igiss or an admin tell Outlaw and crew they can't RP this, you have no say so. Regardless of your status on the dev team. He isn't asking for his group to be mod cannon. Most of the official factions aren't mod cannon.

Every official faction out there is mod canon. That's what officialty is all about.

The Asgardian Warriors paid for the construction of Omicron-74 yet there is no mention of them on any of the infocards.

The AW got retconned out for they do not fit Disco's lore. They got accepted back then because many regulations where much less strict, which led to factions like them, the =CR= (which was a BSG import back then, which is isn't today anymore as that'd lead to their removal of officialty status) or the KoF to be made official, simply because they were highly active.

Also, don't assume that direct mentions in infocards are all what makes a faction canon.

Re-read my post. I have clearly stated that I hold no authority to dictate *anything* to *anyone*. What I've said is that it is futile to form this soul-eating lolghost group, because a) most people won't take them seriously, b) they won't be made mod canon, so they will have NO impact whatsoever on this mod's storyline, and c) that, should they decide to do their thing anyways, all they'll do is ruin other people's fun for their own gain.

"We're here to have fun". Everybody is. But some people's "fun" intrudes other people's fun. That's one of the things that's slowly killing Disco from the inside - players being inconsiderate of each other. Many don't work together to create a RP environment everybody benefits from. They make their ridiculous statements ("We can identify your Iseijin as Nomad-infected by looking at the color of their gun projectiles!", "We are ghosts and demand a thousand souls!") and do their thing, which pisses people off, creating an atmosphere of disdain, ooRP politics and malevolent competition.

Too bad you're one of them.
