The training that followed was quite arderus. The eyes were easy, since Denelo had been training with those for a while. Learning how to operate the electrical conduits in his body was interesting, but once he got the hang of it he could fling lightning about the place and even tap into wires or streams of it if he was carefull. The metalic fingertips also lead to some interesting quirks, mainly in terms of intimidation and such. The flame-throwing organs on his hands worked quite well, although he always got the urge to heat lots and lots of hot peppers after using them for a long time. Vic said that, while not normal, it was perfectly fine. Just that one bit of genetic coding exerting itself in other aspects.
The 5 days it took passed by quickly. Much was simply a blur, but there were a few memorable moments. For example, the time when Denelo found out what happens when you over-pressurize your flame organs. It took a day to heal the burst arm fully and with no scar, which was a shorter amount of time then usual due to the increased motabilism, plus the hord of little nano-machines that SiN|Tech pumped into his veins. It help being in the top medical hospital in the known universe, as well. After that, Denelo had a rather bad craving for protein, which is why he consumed 3 medium rare steaks that night. Vic explained that the healing and nano-machines didn't take over the healing process, they just helped guide and acclerate it. Protein was the basic building block of any human, thus the need for it after an intense rebuild like that.
At last, it was time to head out. The guards escorted both Denelo and Vic out of the building and up to the roof, where Denelos' transport waited. "Good luck, Mr.Mori. If anything goes wrong, just let us know. We'll be sure to have it fixed in no time."
Vic smiled again, and bowed Denelo out to the waiting train.
