X-Shuttle Replacement

Well, thanks for the replies folks. I've redone the wings and I'm thinking about trying to texture it and then export it to MS3D to give it hardpoints.

One reason I decided I'd redo the X-Shuttle model is because... those bottom fins, they're... horrid. That and I believe it's an import. Correct me if I'm wrong.
The ship's stats are fine. It's time for a new, original model.

Well, indeed, that is your opinion and I respect that.
Granted, this may very well be an import (I don't know if it is or not; it really doesn't bother me), but if you replace the original X-Shuttle you will take away a look that has inspired some really good RP characters here . .





The X-shuttle is supposed to fly in atmospheric conditions. With the small wings on your version, it just doesn't appear to do that, (in my opinion).

I know you need to texture your version, but just looking at the shape alone:
The original X-shuttle has a certain, "darkness" in a sense. It has a low and arched profile that makes this ship appealing to the shady type of character, like a smuggler. It's unique shape makes it a sensible choice to explorers, researchers. A ship that can fly to places that a normal ship may have difficulty reaching out to . . .

Please don't take this the wrong way, but your version looks more like a Zoner cargo vessel than the type of ship the X-shuttle looks like . . (You have a Great Ship. I like it, but it is not an X-Shuttle replacement)

The original X-shuttle is the perfect ship for the explorer / researcher, unlawful smuggler, refugee, or even the average Joe who can scrounge up enough credits for a ship that gives him a vast array of opportunities in Sirius . .
