Guten Tag.
Today started off with me being shaken out of bed and taken to the briefing room. Once there I was informed that a unidentified gunboat class vessel attacked two traders near the Stuttgart Gate. They brought up a bomber from the hanger and threw me in.
Upon leaving the base I was told that the target in question had vanished. Then there was another report of a gunboat class vessel in Hamburg. I turned the bomber around and headed to the gate. Upon jumping through I received word that this "gunboat" was at Alster Shipyard. I proceeded there and there was what seemed to be a Liberty Gunboat and Flieger Wolfen was "fighting" it. After it seemed like it took a lot of damage it seemed to just vanish.
I speculate that it is not some "cloaking" technology but rather that there was some drone nearby that was projecting the image of said gunboat. Then out of no where two what seemed to be Corsair fighters came. Because Herr Wolfen and I were in bombers we could not stop them.
I proceeded back to the Strausberg to retrieve my Wraith. Then one of the Valkyries contacted me. "Hey, I got the Corsairs stopped here. Get to New Berlin." I headed back to Dortmund with my Wraith and a Civilian also pointed out the Corsairs. I jumped into the lane, closing it behind me, and headed to the location specified.
There were the Corsairs. One had a Gladiator and the other a Titan class Vessel. As soon as I arrived the Gladiator turned and wouldn't let me leave its sight. The Titan focused on the Valkyrie. Soon the Corsairs engaged us. We decided that he would take the Titan and I would take the Gladiator. They started shooting mines out like no tomorrow in attempts to take our shields out. I managed to take the Gladiator's shield out just as he dropped and detonated a mine. It ripped through his ship and blew it to pieces.
I then played decoy for the Titan who lined up to shoot me. The Valkyrie took the chance and took the shield off and shot a Mini Razor up its tailpipe. It started to fall apart before it eventually exploded.
I returned back to the Strausberg for minor repairs from all of the mines.
