The developers won't allow additions to this mod that come from others.

(I fail to see how we can even associate ourselves with a Freelancer Community Network when we're not allowed to better our own mod with the very things that people are putting out there. I would imagine some mods take things from disco.)

That statement there is not true. No, we wont steal the idea nad claim it is ours, but we will use the idea and improve upon it to better suit discovery.

In my personal opinion, this mining mod would harm disco, and kill the mining balance that was painfully created a year or so ago.

Again, its a neat idea, but it just wont work here unless you drop the price of ore to pennies on the dollar and make people spend the time they would chewing up rocks trading instead. Even then, it destroys the conept of mining in the first place.
