The comms officer, sitting on the bridge of the LucrativeTransport props her feet up on the console. Then she notices a flashing light of a transmission intercept. Hum... interested she sits up to see if it's of any importance. Encrypted.. well isn't that intersting she thinks as she runs the Enigma program to hack the encryption..

Mean while at the bar Capt. Garrick and the rest of the crew is enjoying themselves and having a blast with other patrons of the bar. The captain get's a message in his ear piece. Holding his hand to the transmit button the security officer over hears his response. "Warm up the engines and start the other drive systems.. Grab a weapon from the light arms stores and meet us here in the bar." The security officer asks, "Any trouble I should know about?"
Garrick responds, "No, nothing more than those two pirate baddies.." He then turns to his cargo master and chief medic. "Return to the ship, make sure she's ready to go."

The two leave the bar about the same time as a strange laughter is heard over the main intercom speakers of the establishment. About that time two large goons by the front door enter holding pistols approaching the group. One of them smiles as he raises his pistol at the captain. "You have some friends that have a message for you." About that time his head explodes, leaving a red mist hanging in the air. His partner has a look of shock on his face, which then changes to a look of confusion as smoke rolls out of his mouth. His body falls forward exposing his shredded back which smoke also lingers around. Standing behind them is the comm's officer holding an assault gun. "Exploding rounds.. Their my favorite, I also like when the big bad guys stand side by side.. makes it so much easier."

With that the crew hastily return to the ship which by this point is almost fully prepped for launch. They finish up the rest of the preparations in a hurry and then launch into space. The captain in his cabin with his feet up on his desk laughs.. "Well life is just full of surprises. Good work monitoring the comms this evening, your going to get a much larger cut off of our next run."

The trade ship LucrativeTransport.Inc. headed into deeper space avoiding the trade lanes.
