Doc nodded in acknowledgement as the Kanzler spoke. He understood his concerns and appreciated his desire to want freedom for both the IMG and the Zoners in Omega 3.
"A buffer zone," he thought to himself. He remembered mentioning to the Queen of making Omega 3 such a zone. He also remembered her insistence that this never come up again. As much as he wanted to mention it, he held to his word.

"I understand the frustration of Liberty Navy ships being allowed through," Doc explained, "I will tell you this though, the only way Bretonia will disallow them into and through their space is if Rheinland disallows Kusari Naval ships from doing the same. Zoner patrols have spotted them going to Cambridge via a jumphole in the Omega 3 system. If each side disallows their guests to pass then neither House fights a two front war. I think this is crucial to establishing peace."

He took a sip of his drink, "You know, there is a way where we could get that buffer zone of which you speak AND get freedom for the IMG and Zoners of Omega 3. If peace was restored, I have no doubt that they would move some of the heavier assets out of the region that were brought in to keep that peace.
Kanzler, I know that Omega 7 has two Rheinland companies in it, Daumann and Kruger. It also has it's own group of IMG. If you would be willing to pull Rheinland military ships out of Omega 7, perhaps limiting fighter patrols to Breisen and Elbich and of course, that long range patrol to secure the way to Rugen, it might entice Bretonia, as a show of good faith, to take similar action in Omega 3 thus making both systems free systems."

"I know it's a lot, Kanzler, but reducing the military presence of both houses may well be the key," he added.
""If we can do all that, maybe I can try and broker something between Rheinland and Liberty."
Doc sat back, allowing the Kanzler to mull over his ideas.
