Yhanu sat back in her chair. At last, they were safe....for now... Looking around she checked to see if the other GMG personnel and Lianne were safe. They stared dumbfounded by the main gun's firepower. Yhanu tried to think back to see if anything was built yet to match it. The only thing that came to mind was the good ol' fashion Heavy Mortar. Which was the base model of the Main gun, But Derilos had requested Yhanu to make it stronger so sacrificing power efficiency for more power, thus Yhanu created the Hydroner. With an overwhelming power to energy deficiency Derilos had been eager to test it out. But back then they hadn't found any worth targets....until now... Yhanu: "Hey....you guys ok?" GMG Personnel: "You...created...that?" Yhanu: "Yeah, don't worry about it. Most of my other inventions were much more brutal..." GMG Personnel: "You cannot be serious...." Yhanu: "Ah....sure why not hmm? C'mon let's go check on the others...eh? No power huh? Told that bastard...ah well I'll go check the main generator..." Yhanu started her decent down the ladder. She warned something like this would happen to Derilos....the bastard didn't listen....

Hersin sat in his seat as the lights went out but a small generator turned on and a small light was turned on in the kitchen. A backup plan Derilos had that Yhanu should have invested more time in. The large blast could be heard as if everywhere...as if Yhanu herself tried to fire all her ideas at once...Hersin shuddered at the thought. Yhanu wasn't usually a nice girl at times...It churned his stomach to think what she use to be capable of. Zsadist: "Oi...what zhe hell is wrong with the power?" Hersin: "Yhanu probably..." Zsadist: "Zat doesn't answer my question. Hersin: "Your question was answered...you just don't understand the solution in front of you..." Zsadist: "Heh...trying to be a smart one are you?" Hersin: "I don't ant to get into a fight, ust keep your thoughts to yourself till Yhanu gets the power back on at least..." Zsadist: "Hmph...just tell that chick to-" Metal clanged as Yhanu came down the ladder. Yhanu: "Tell me what now?" Zsadist: "We need power...or are you bind?" Yhanu: "I wouldn't try to push my buttons...not right now...got it?" Zsadist: "You and what army will stop me from doing or killing you?" Yhanu pulled out a switchblade knife from her pocket and Hersin leaned back causally and pulled out a short needle from his sleeve. If there was going to be a fight, Hersin wanted to make sure Zsadist was the first casualty. Zsadist: "Hmph, I won't push deal? Just hurry up and do what you do." Yhanu didn't bother to answer and stormed off mad as ever. Yeah Zsadist was going to have to be dealt with...

Lianne sat as the rest of the fireworks ended. The purple blast looked almost like a star in itself. In the lasting moments. It was as if Lianne could see the few hundred souls being erased from this world. Never in her life had she seen something so beautiful and dangerous...Yhanu: " Hey....you guys ok?" GMG Personnel: "You...created...that?" Yhanu: "Yeah, don't worry about it. Most of my other inventions were much more brutal..." GMG Personnel: "You cannot be serious...." Yhanu: "Ah....sure why not hmm? C'mon let's go check on the others...eh? No power huh? Told that bastard...ah well I'll go check the main generator..." Lianne heard Yhanu descend down the ladder and eventually the GMG personnel left too. In silence Lianne pondered about her future. It seems as the very blast changed her whole perspective on life as she knew it. Without much effort she came to a decision quickly... Lianne: "Yes...it makes sense now..." Lianne walked out of the room and down the ladder. Without power this was easier said then done. She had thought it probably would have been better if she'd just waited for Yhanu to fix the power...But eventually she reached the ladder and decended until she reached halfway and a light could be seen. Wasting no time she slid down and reached the bottom. Silence stretched on as she simply sat by the table and waited with Hersin and Zsadist who didn't look like he was in a good mood...

Dere'l took a step back from the window. With a discontented sigh she tried to find a place to sit. It was looking as if she and Faust were going to be a while. Faust stood by the window captivated. He was into the large battle stuff wasn't he? Faust: "Uh...hmmm" Dere'l: "Problem Faust?" Faust: "Well...I thought I saw Escuarde for a second....but I guess not..." Dere'l: "What?!" Dere'l ran up to another window and tried to look around. Large bits of debris floated around but that was besides the point. What about the fighters? Did they survive the blast? As the debris moved around slowly, Dere'l tried her best to look around. Faust: "Ah there he is!" Dere'l: "Where?!" Dere'l practically plowed Faust out of the way. Yep he was right, There just behind some debis was the Eagle fighter. It looked mostly intact. What about- Oh...Behind one of the larger debris chunks was the two GMG fighters. They looked like they got banged up a bit but relatively ok. Dere'l: "Oh sorry faust here let me help you up." Dere'l held out her hand and Faust took it and got to his feet. Dere'l: "We should get the food to the kitchen. Yhanu: "No, not yet please. Let me fix the power first ok?" Dere'l: "Sure Yhanu, let us know ok?" Yhanu: "Not a priblem, shouldn't take long..." Yhanu dissappeared down the corridor. Since she built this base it was to be expected. The star nebula of the system illuminated some parts through the window but other then that it was dark. But Yhan knew her way around this place. She helped build it after all...

Faust waited and waited, the smell of cardamine calling to him still. Derilos must have expected this because now Faust had to face his addiction without using it. Which was something that never happened. As if moving his feet was far from his control, both his feet started to twice. Faust assumed it to be a side effect. Seconds stretched into minuted but Faust was determined to stay put. A mirror image of himself and the Fat Lady battling it out within his head. If that wasn't bad enough Faust was actually with the Fat lady this time. He couldn't go use cardi and disobey Derilos could he? Pain rose as his mind conflicted with itself and it wasn't soon until Faust started to get mad. Mad at himself, Mad at his cardi, Mad at everything. Throwing all things out of his mind, he made a decision, he HAD to get that cardi, there wasn't going to be any more negotiations. There would only be killing. Faust rose to his feet and ran from the corridor. Dere'l: "Faust? Faust where are you going?!" Faust ignored Dere'l and continued to plow through anything in his way, wither it be a bag or a crate. The walls were something that couldn't have been trampled over but one day Faust was going to find a way to plow through them too. He reached the bedrooms and quickly found his old room. Wasting no time he opened the door and there it was. His entire stash of cardi stilling on his bed. He was about to go and finally get rid of his anger but something didn't seem right. Why was his cardi out like this? If anything he would have hidden it....Just then Yhanu popped from the ceiling and (TWICK! TWICK!)....popped two darts into his neck....

Zsadist sat back and waited for the power to be turned back on or whatever that little...no not today, don't get mad...that Yhanu girl was asking for it. And mister calm and cool the wannabe doctor was going to get some next if he was going to start a fight. Zsadist (thoughts): 'Stay cool ja? You only have to deal with these zdiots for a little while longer...then Robinson and his crew and myself of course can get outta this hell hole and head for better waters.' Convinced that it would be easy, Zsadist actually began to relax. Resting his feet up on the table, he felt as if everything would be sorted out just fine...Lianne: "What's wrong Zsadist? You seem to be in a happy mood..." Zsadist: " Don't test me girl...if Robinson didn't hired you...heh I don;'t need to go further...." Hersin: "Disgusting..." Lianne: "You wouldn't!" Zsadist: "I would what? Kill you? your acting as if that's not a common thing around here..." Lianne: "Oh..." Zsadist: "You havea corrupted mind girl...I suggest you focus more on your mission rather then me..." Lianne: "Is there a light I can use?" Hersin: "Other then ours? No...sorry.." Lianne: "That's ok then...I don't mind waiting..." Zsadist: " What's taking that little....gah, forget it I'm going to sleep!" Zsadist laid back as far as he could and closed his eyes. The silence was stunning, and no complaints from smart mouth little boy over there? This must have been something ordained for him to happen...

Yhanu dragged Faust out of the room. She locked the door and prompted Faust upright and let him lean against the wall. To make herself feel better she placed an air filtering mask over Faust's bad-face...which in the end didn't look right at all but better then nothing. Yhanu headed into the power generator room. The bright yellow glow of the machine was a welcoming site.

Yhanu: "Hey old girl! You miss me?" Yhanu walked around to check to make sure everything was set in place. None of the wires were out and all the switched were in their place. Yhanu: "Alright, time for your jump start. Hey hey! It's ok, I trust you whole heartedly, We just need the power on soon m'kay? Nothing personal...I know! I know what I said before but....yeah but...so your asking me to wait? Fine five minutes got it? Good." Yhanu sat next to her creation as it hummed in silence. Out of all her inventions, the power generator was the only one what Yhanu believed had a mind of it own. When Yhanu first built it, it had flaws as usual. Every time she tried to change it, it only got worse. She tried everything from hitting it to hitting with with things but nothing changed. She eventually started just talking to it one day and it started to work. Much longer then it originally had. When Yhanu tried beating it again for it's lack luster performance one day, the thing shut off for a week before it would turn back on again. This convinced Yhanu the machine was alive and favored a break or two...

Lianne sat in silence, the animosity between Zsadist and Hersin grew with time. Lianne estimated it would only be a few minutes before they were fighting or worse....dead. Hersin: "So Lianne, where do you come from?" Zsadist: "Shut up..." Hersin: "Why don't you make me?" Zsadist: "You talking as if it'll be hard..." Hersin: "Your too overconfident." Zsadist: "No, just confident in my abilities." Hersin: "I think you need a reality check." Zsadist: "I can zay the same for you." Hersin: "Oh really? For someone who talks a lot you don't use much action to backup your words." Zsadist: "No need, my actions will overwhelm you and turn you into mince meat." Hersin: "You honestly cannot beat me." Lianne: "ENOUGH! God, you two are annoying...I'm going to check up on Dere'l..." Zsadist: "Whatever..." Lianne headed out of the room. Those two were nothing but trouble alone but Lianne didn't care. Even thought they talk tough, they were laid back relaxing and it was anything but helpful to her right now. Entering the docking area, Dere'l sat alone. No one else around and Lianne felt bad for her being alone like this. After what they both probably saw being alone was the last thing they all needed. Lianne walked over and sat next to her. Dere'l leaned on her and sighed. Lianne: "All alone huh?" Dere'l: "Mhmm..." Lianne: "That's ok...girls stick together..."

Yumitoko: "Where is he?" Wydona: "Who knows?" The twins carefully guided their craft around the wreckage. Chunks of rooms remained although what was in them couldn't have been known unless you were on the ship prior....but even then....the destructive power of that mortar shell or whatever it was, had devastating power. Yumitoko: "We have to find him..." Wydona: "Relax we won't find him." Yumitoko: "Relax?! I WANT HIM FOUND!" Wydona: "As you wish sister...we will find him then..." Yumitoko looked left and right, bodies floated around utterly torched. If anything remained on them it looked as if they were practically fused with the body and then some...Yumitoko turned up the power outpot of her ships centeral lights. They glowed brighter but it didn't seem to change much. YUmitoko: "Wydona, do you see anything?" With no answer Yumitoko began to get worried. Yumitoko: "Wydona? You there?" GMG pilot: "Ugh..." Yumitoko: "Oh! One of the GMG pilots! Are you safe?!" GMG pilot: "Ugh....yeah...got caught in the blast a bit..." Yumitoko looked around to see if she could find the fighter. With nothing to go on she was searching for a pin in a scrapyard. She moved up and looked around again. Yumitoko: 'I'll never find him at this rate..' Out of sheer luck one of the large debris chunks moved and a glimmer of white could be seen. Moving towards it carefully the glimmer grew into a small tip, then a wing then an engine, then....uh oh....

Dere'l sat alone as the cold docking area seemed to chill her straight to her core. Faust left her all alone and for the first time in a few hours it was quiet. Even her dream last night was loud. Dere'l sighed, her dream with Derilos...yeah she wished she could live through that everyday....the pain was worth it in her opinion...Lianne walked over and sat next to her. Dere'l had felt a connection to this girl for some reason, since the day they first met. Dere'l rested her head on Lianne's shoulder as if it was meant to be so. With all the new responsibility to deal with and having to deal with Lianne's group as well, things wasn't looking so good. Dere'l let out a sigh as things were starting to look foggy in terms of extra responsibility. Lianne: "All alone huh?" Dere'l: "Mhmm..." Lianne: "That's ok...Girls stick together..." For no particular reason Dere'l started to cry. It started with just tears at first then it came in heaps. Lianne: "Hey hey it's ok!" Lianne wrapped her arm around her and Dere'l couldn't help but feel worse. This was too much for her....just too much... Dere'l: "I'm strong I shouldn't need to cry." Lianne: "Your still young, it happens from time to time..." Dere'l: "I wish Derilos was here..." Lianne: "What's your obsession with him? I don't mean to offend but I've noticed your always around him...why?" Dere'l: "Well..."

'... ... ....mmm...what is that? I....I cannot see....is that a? Light? I cannot move my eyelids...not... good... gotta move...' Escuarde tried to move his arms, but found he couldn't move them. He tried to move his legs. They were stuck too. With a shocking truth, reality came back to him and he began to hurt everywhere. His back was clentched, his legs felt as if they were being stung over and over again. His arms felt as if they were stones. A small peek hole of light shone in his eyes. That explains what he was seeing. But where was he? What about he battle? Questions surged into his brain which only made his situation worse. Escuarde: "Ugh...I....gotta get out of...here..." (WONK....WONK....WONK) Escuarde: "What the....hell is that?" (WONK....WONK....SCREEEE) Escuarde clentched his eyes as his ears started to bleed. It wouldn't be long before he was dead. Being stuck completely, Escuarde started to give up hope. As if in space....wait he was in space right right, Escuarde's ship started to move slowly at first and then faster. His peek hole dimmed and the greater picture was revealed. He was looked at a fire? As his ship moved further and further more things came into hi view, first a room then more and more, all scorched. Escuarde: "No...it cannot be..." A few bodies entered the picture and it looked nothing like a corsair suit. Escuarde couldn't hold it in anymore. Tears rolled down his chheck even though he didn't want them to. Either from the pain or the fact the base was destroyed and he was being dragged off by what was possibly corsairs to be scavenged, Escuarde had no reason to live anymore...there was only one last thing to do. Moving his arm a bit, metal pricked him left and right and his arm wouldn't budge. After a while he was able to forcibly remove his arm from the crater and some slices in his arm drew blood...as if he wasn't already. Escuarde pulled out his last resort from one of his drawers that, yes thank god was still able to move....and he took out his grenade....

Yhanu waited in silence for her machine to decide to work again. This was getting ridiculous, waiting for a machine to turn itself on, not like it has done it before right? Well there was once but that was only due to a small spark in between the wires which incidentally moved the switch connector that controlled the flow of energy into the machine thus allowing it to activate without being touched. But Yhanu has found that problem and fixed it and it hasn't done that since. Yhanu: "What the hell am I doing? Let's get this done." Yhanu walked up to the machine and pressed the starter button but nothing happened. Yhanu: "Ok this might take longer then I thought..." Crouching down Yhanu pulled open the maintenance hatch and examined inside. Nothing looked out of place but she checked the cables and bolts just to be sure. With nothing else to check Yhanu closed the hatch and leaned on the machine. As if by divine intervention, the thing started. Yhanu: "Why didn't you tell me you just wanted a hug?!" In no time the lights were back on and everything seemed to be working in the mechanical side but Yhanu still needed to check the bridge... Yhanu: "I'll be right back ok?" The yellow glow from the machine started to dim. Yhanu: "Hey hey it'll be ok!" Yhanu leaned in close and gave the machine a kiss, which seemed to have been worth something as it started to glow bright yellow. Yhanu: "Heh you sensitive old thing..." Yhanu headed out for the bridge and prayed everything was working finally...

Hersin sat completely still. Zsadist was getting on his last nerves and it was coming to the point they were ready to fight. It wouldn't be long before one was on the floor dead, and Hersin knew it wouldn't be him. Taking no chances he decided to make the first strike. Moving as fast as he could he gripped his needle tightly and went for Zsadist's throat. Zsadist must have known he was going to do that because he quickly dodged left and got out of his seat. Zsadist: "Zat is a zad demonstration of your abilitiez..." Hersin: "You'll only live fr=or a few moments longer, why try to struggle?" Zsadist: "I don't struggle, you just cannot hit me. Is your eyesight that bad?" Hersin couldn't deal with it anymore. This was going to end now. With a quick movement, Hersin crouched and lunged at Zsadist. the one thing Hersin didn't expect was for Zsadist to step closer to him...and land a solid blow to the stomach. The punch felt like a large cinder block. Hersin fell back and tried to calm his breathing. The ligths came on and thankfully caught Zsadist's attention. Zsadist: "Light! That woman took forever! Damn!" Lifting his arms up high and spinning around with excitement, Hersin seized his final chance. Lunging again Hersin tried to target his opponent's neck with his small needle. Zsadist: "You don't learn! Your too slow! I-" Hersin stopped...and slowly smiled. Zsadist: "I-....I..." Hersin: "Paralyzed are you? I'd love to explain but it'll take you too long to comprehend with your small brain..."

The lights came on, slowly at first but then began to glow brighter. Lianne noticed but neglected to say anything. Dere'l was looking back on her life and Lianne was utterly captivated. Dere'l: "I use to be a unioner...I ran away from home you can say....my parents wanted me to join the Rheinland Military or become a lawyer or even become just an escort....they just wanted me to be on the good side you can assume but they never bothered to ask me what I wanted to become. I wanted adventure, fun or even surprise....I wouldn't find it in those things...although that's what I thought back then. So I ran away and joined the one thing I could think of. The unioners...see they had attacked a transport I was one once before but they didn't do much....they got chased off and you guess I had been wondering what their life was life ever since. It wasn't long...about five years before I was kicked out. Not really but it felt like I was. I made a mistake and my commanding officer lost it..." Dere'l sighed. Dere'l: "Then I met Derilos....and I joined him...." Lianne: "That sounds harsh...." Dere'l: "Yeah you can say that...Oh...the lights...c'mon want to help me cook?" Lianne: "Oh...umm no I don't know-" Dere'l: "Don't worry I can teach you come on!" Getting up Lianne helped carry some of the food stacks into the kitchen. Upon their arrival Zsadist was laid out on one of the seats sleeping and Hersin sat in silence. Dere'l: "What happen? Was he that tired?" Hersin: "Mmm...you can say that? I cannot be sure..." Dere'l: "I see......well Lianne, let's get started!"

Yhanu left the generator to do it's work and proceeded to the bridge. Yhanu: 'Oh wait! Faust!' Turning back around she headed to check on up the guy. Making quick work of the trip, Yhanu found Faust still leaning on the wall outside of his room. One thing was different...the mask Yhanu had placed over his bag was now underneath. No doubt he had awoken and moved it. Yhanu: 'Well what do you know...' Heading back for the control room, Yhanu needed to make sure the bridge was operational or they would be a sitting duck. They also had some fighters in space right? They will need to land soon too. Yhanu broke from a walk into a sprint and covered the hallways in no time. Paying no attention to the crowd in the kitchen Yhanu climbed up the ladder. Dere'l: "Oh Yhanu! thanks for turning the lights back on!" Yhanu (without looking back): "Don't thank me yet, we still have fighters outside." Dere'l: "Oh no! They could have been killed! Yhanu do you need help?" Yhanu ran to the controls and started the activation sequence. Yhanu: "No no, I'll need some of you to head down to the hangar and make sure those fighters have a safe landing!" Dere'l: "No problem, coming Lianne?" Lianne: "I don't think I'll be of much help but....sure.." Loud clanking ensured as what seemed to be three pairs of shoes ran down the hallway.

Wydona carefully navigated the wreckage. She took her time and kept to herself. Yumitoko: "Wydona? Wydona!" GMG pilot: "Perhaps she ran off somewhere? I'm sure we will find her..." Yumitoko: "This isn't like her...why would she just run off like this?" GMG pilot two: "Ugh...that blast...so much damage...what about that Escuarde guy? Anyone got eyes on him?" Yumitoko: "No I don't see him..." Wydona felt her sisters pain. When the love of her life AND her sister dissappears, all bets were off. Wydona: "I have him..." Yumitoko: "Wydona! Where are you?!" Wydona: "I'm dragging Escuarde's ship back to the station..he's badly damaged but looks fine..." Yumitoko: "Really?! You found him?!" Wydona: "Get out of the graveyard, let's get inside finally." Yumitoko: "Roger. Wydona?" Wydona: "Yes?" Yumitoko: "...thanks.." Wydona: "Don't get all sentimental on me sis." Wydona turned her ship around and watched as the rest of the fighters exited the wreck site. GMG pilot: "It doesn't look like it is going to be an easy return..." Yumitoko: "Oh really? Why?" GMG pilot: "The station docking doors are still shut..."
