- a firm believe in right and wrong and general ethics, but also due to the pragmatic view - a strong instinct for opportunism and survival

- rigid, formal - she believes in duty, a chain of command. She does not believe much in trust or honour. Power can corrupt, endless power corrupts endlessly - her greatest enemy is herself in that respect.

- none, except that she is pretty good at economics. she always managed to have enough money to get along well

- Elizabeth Tate is actually a horrible pilot, failing many tests and finally "bribing" her way through one of those exams as making money came much easier to her than flying a small craft. When forced to fly a small ship, she relies on the autopilot.
