What I was trying to suggest, I guess, is that with the restricted zone of movement you seem to define for the Militia it is about one half step away from becoming a proper police force, something that is lacking in Bretonia.
I understand what the idea behind the Militia is, and it's a very good idea. I was suggesting a career change. I'm not certain the basic concept of the Militia (patriotic armed civilian, paramilitary, core system defense, mid-low fight training, etc.) couldn't be fulfilled in a police framework.
This would also have the additional benefit of not having to introduce a new faction, but would salvage a Vanilla faction from its Discovery ashes.
I understand if you don't like the idea, but I felt it important to make the suggestion.
Ok, nah, I get your point, I do, and sure it would be better if I just recreated the Police, but alas, the police already exists, maybe this could be a police in one way, but it would defeat the purpose of this whole idea.
So nah, I don't think I will rethink this into an Police instead, I like this;)
Anyhow, thanks for you input and your suggestions.
Thing is, we will shorten our ZOI to basicly where the Police would operate, BUT, we will also work outside the ZOI, just so we can actually help in the war (if it comes to that) I mean it wouldn't be a Militia if they wouldnt fight in the war.
Nonetheless I think the best thing for the militia is to stick with guarding their homes, aka mini Armed Forces, mini police..:)
Edit: Im a little hangover today, so if I don't make sense, slap me... *goes to get more coffee*
Edit: Actually now when I think about it, it isnt a bad idea at all, actually it could work, they wouldnt be a real plice, but rather take over that role. .. I will think about this..
