Jacob walked down to the elevator and took it to deck three just as Petrov and Jasmine were heading back for more training. Jacob stopped front of them. Petrov stopped and saluted, Keller returned the salute and he went to ease.

"Change of plans. We're heading out to the Omegas to look for Jason." Jacob said.

"Jason?" Jasmine repeated.

"Your brother. He escaped Victoria disabled one of our gunboats in two shots." he replied.

"Impressive." Petrov said.

"That's what I said. Be ready in 20 minutes, Petrov. Jasmine, come with me."

Jasmine took a sideways look at Petrov and smiled that teasing smile as if to say "See you later." and followed her father. He remained silent for a few minutes, his face and body completely hidden from view behind the mass of armor he wore over his body.

"I don't need to tell you what we do, do I?" he finally said, still walking to his destination.

"From what I can tell, you're a mercenary group with a lot of credits."

Keller looked to his daughter as he walked and chuckled a little bit.

"We're a lot more than your generic mercenaries group my dear daughter. We work for the pirates of Sirius. The lawful scum are the ones who we fight against...those and their loyal lapdogs."

Just as Keller said that, they passed an MM in the hallway. Keller stared hard at him and he returned the glare, as if they were gunslingers just waiting for the opportunity to blast one another to death. The two passed and Keller resumed his forward glare.

"One of the lapdogs." he said.

Jasmine returned with an "Ah" and kept walking behind her father.

"What we do is dangerous, it's hard, and most of all, its fun. The reason I came to find you now is the fact that I only recently found out about your existence. Your life out in the real world, however, has given you the advantage over many your age. You've learned that the lawfuls of Sirius cannot be trusted. They are corrupt, dirty, and most of all, greedy. They need to be put down into the ground, all of them."

Keller stopped outside a door and pressed a code combination. As he pressed the enter key, the door slid open and an office was there. He walked in, Jasmine following. As the door slid shut, Keller entered in a code combination and the door locked, the cameras in the room turned off, and the room was silent. He pressed two buttons on his collar and the suits helmet slid back into his collar. He took a big breath of air while looking out the window, his back turned to Jasmine.

"Why do you always wear the helmet out in public?" she asked.

"That way, people don't know what I look like without it." he said, his voice finally normal instead of being played through speakers. "its insurance in case I need to disappear. Only a few people know what I look like without it, I figured my own flesh and blood should be one of them." he said turning to face Jasmine.

He was obviously of Kusarian decent with a mix of Liberty in him. He had jet black hair down to his shoulders, just like hers, and stark green eyes. Exactly like hers as well. A huge gash ran from the top of his scalp, all the way down and ended at his chin.

"What's that from?" Jasmine asked.

His eyes squinted and looked at the floor, pure blistering rage boiling just underneath the skin. He clenched his teeth and balled his hands into fists.

"Tainted." he said. "There are things that you will not understand, Jasmine. Things you will not understand for a long time. In time, you will learn about them, for I will tell you...but for now...you just have to trust me."

Jasmine remained silent for a long while. She forgot that she was in a bad mood all the time, for once she was finally content knowing that she DID have a family...a father and a brother.

"I trust you, father."

Keller smiled at her and walked over to her; he gave her a ginger hug and said. "Then, my dear, let's go get Petrov and find your brother...oh...and I fully expect you to give him as hard as a time as you can. Makes him tough, and its fun to boot."

Jasmine giggled.

You fear oblivion. Yet you forget. The universe remembers every atom of your being. Even dust hums your name in the dark.
