Captain's log, 040418

The influx of Mollys in Manchester is amazing... We send one of them to Newgate, and another three pops up to take the other one's place. I've yet to grasp why they're so interested in the system of Manchester anyway. Do they really care so much about the BMM mining operations, or do they think that piracy is generally safer to conduct here... They are, literally, everywhere in Manchester! At least they'll keep Newgate running!

Apprehended Mollys
We also caught wind of a smuggler. A Zoner vessel by the name of Ridgerunner was caught crashing down the trade lanes from New London, packed with alien Artifacts. The vessel managed to enter a second trade lane leading to Sheffield Station, but a wing of fighters were dispatched after him. He managed to evade the pursuers somewhere in the Magellan system. We'll keep an eye out for this smuggler, and perhaps we can see him coming next time.

Passing time
We were also contacted by a group that call themselves the Sirius Revolutionary Front, or SRF for short. Borderline terrorists, they claimed to be, hitting "mega-corporations" to cripple the economy of Houses. They also revealed that they operate mainly in Kusari, disrupting shipping and attacking traders there, as well as fighting the KNF. I've received no other reports regarding this group of rebels, and they seem to leave traders alone in the systems of Magellan, Cortez and Manchester. However, I made it very clear to them that if they reside to piracy against Bretonia, in her systems or against her people, the Ocean will be forced to take appropriate actions against them.

As for now, they maintain docking rights with the Ocean. In return, they agreed to bring any pilots they take prisoner to us. May it be criminals, Kusari pilots or otherwise.

Captain Talbot Carstairs, signing off.
