This, my friends, is an open Starcraft RPG!
Anyone can come in, but there are a few rules here.
-You can play as a Terren or Protoss infantry unit. Marines, Firebats, possibly a Ghost or Medic for the Terrens, while the Protoss get Zelots, Dragoons, Dark Templar, and regular Templar. Maybe latter you might get a Wraith or Scout. But only if you're really good.
-The Zerg are the Bad Guys, so no playing Zerg!
-You may not play as a 'Hero.' Your just an average Joe, stuck in a mad, mad world. Ok, slightly more than an average Joe (otherwise whats the point?) but your not "Teh Uber Ninja Slayer."
-Sure, you can fight other players, but why? *See 'Setting' below*
-You can take control of some hostiles, you know, to spice things up. But be reasonable. A Protoss Probe is not going to be able to take on a horde of Zerglings single-handed!
-Use common sense when doing damage. An SCV cannot suddenly get 500 heavy machinguns, and like-wise, a Probe cannot come out of a Seige Tank shell unscathed by doing 'The Matrix.'
-Keep OOC to a minimum.

Setting:
The UED have been decimated. Dugall ordered a hasty evacuation, and the broken fleet limped homeward. UED bases and outposts, left behind in the confusion and chaos, suddenly found themselfs to be major strongpoints against Zerg attacks. The Terren Dominion also left behind several camps, after pulling back to Korhol to regroup. The Protoss made attempts to get their warriors back, but it was futile. The Zerg overtook every rescue operation, swarmed every gathering of survivors, and infested any base they got their claws on.
On planet Char, these groups of humans and Protoss must fight for every inch of ground and every minute of life. The Zerg are everywhere, and someone's got to get these people out of a rather messy situation.

Fight!
Archer Afamir looked through the scope of his Canister Rifle. "It looks like they're finally backing off!" A ragged chear ran through the line of Bunkers set up at what once was Outpost Gamma. Now, it was home.
Archer lifted the gogles off his eyes and peered over his new home. The Ghost had once taken places like this for granted, but now...
They had actually been lucky. The Command center here had a few SCVs in it, and durring the lulls between waves they could actually get some repairs done. The wounded who couldn't fight got put in them perminately and started harvesting minerals and Vespine. It was just enough to keep the Barracks running. Archer grudgingly admitted that at least SOMETHING from the UED came in handy... The Cloneing banks in the Barracks allowed them to keep producing soldiers, just enough to fill in the gaps left by those who died but not enough to have extra soldiers. They even managed to save a coupple of Seige Tanks to help defend the only entrance to Outpost Gamma.
Archer let out a sigh. What he would give for some more SCVs, and a whole platoon of Dominion forces at his back! Heck, even some more marines would be great right now! As it was, they had no medic, only 5 SCVs, and about two dozen marines and a few Firebats of both Dominion and UED colors. At least they wouldn't run out of resources for a while. They had a LOT of crystal and three Vespine Gysers. Can you imagine? All those resources, and they're just trying to survive! The universe sure has a sense of irony.
Speaking of which... Archer looked back at the blasted plains of Char. "Heads up! Bunch of Zerglins comming this way! Looks like a different Brood this time!"
"I don't care what brood they are! They all bleed the same to me!" Archer almost grinned at the Marines statement of defiance. Almost...
He cocked his rifle again and started picking off Zerg. It's like a never ending feeling of De'ja-vu! He thought as the rifle kicked against his arm for the ump-theenth time that day.

This is the real true story of rock and roll; it was not about anything more then, how to live your life, as a gangster, in sartorial splendor, and turning the world into a place where normality would never return again...- Malcolm McLaren
