On the matter at hand - it can be done, I believe, but it's a pain in the ass to get right. Hell, our devs can't even get the rest of the stuff together fast enough. Asking for stuff like this is pretty futile. Plus, I don't think it's worth the effort, would be a nice addition though. Especially if you're talking about larger ships, since they're more fit for that.
