either way - capital ships are unpopular and its hardly worth adding the idea of flagships, when they can be taken out by 2-3 bombers ( takes away the epicness a little ) - and a ship of that size can be hit at max range by a SN.

another idea would have involved such a ship to become a "base" - much like the stationary NPC battleships ( hence making it invulnerable and giving it a purpose at either the frontline - or back in some guard system ) - but that was never really proceeded much - and now it might be too late, xing hasn t been around disco for a while now.

Wouldn't the problem with textures be as present, if not more present, if the ship was a base instead?
