LPI and their RP

Here's why:

People have a pre-conceived notion of who we are and what we are all about after they come here from Vanilla.

They have no idea.

I wouldn't DREAM of barging in somewhere telling Del or Xoria or Dusty / Tanker / Joe how the LR or the Hackers or the Xenos are supposed to be.

Why?

Because I have NEVER had one of those characters. I have never walked in their shoes, experienced what they have, shared their pain.

Also added to the list BHG, Outcasts, Corsairs, RM, AU, LN BAF Mollies, KFN, KSP, and any other faction or group that I don't have a character in. IF I haven't done it, I don't comment.

I do have a pirate character, a indie trader, a faction trader, and a TAZ character. Used to have a Vigilante back in the day.

Do some people have some good ideas? Yeah. Constructive criticism and suggestions are good.

When you show up and start off with a superiority attitude because you can hide behind a keyboard and figure you will never be found? Useless. Wasted bandwidth, wasted time.

If I recall correctly, my biggest problem with the last thread was that the LPI group or whatever group it was that requested this change, was that they would remove a valuable commodity which had a significant Role-Play behind it being there in the first place, but not only that, they requested something that would affect everyone and not just their Player Faction Role-Play. This was my problem, all along. Then some other crap got stuffed in there but I was not the one starting it. My initial post was about the commodity and the request itself. You or anyone else who started replying back to my opinion brought up other things, which I promptly responded back to.

Now, after a bit of reflecting upon the matter and hearing opinions of other people and various inputs, I agreed upon putting it on Houston. It would seem like a good compromise to remove the slaves commodity from the Prisons (LPI's request) but still have this specific commodity linked with the LPI by putting it on another location (My problem being fixed).

So that's that. Now my comment about you using the whole LPI-Challenge or "You have no idea how it really works, you have no experience" attitude to counter complaints/criticism/accusations whatever you like to label them, towards the LPI faction, I still stand by. Because that is the exact same attitude I have witnessed in several other threads, not only this one or the other thread regarding the whole "Request to the Developers" but also in one of them threads made by some pissed off trader who complained about how the Police were doing their job in Liberty. Regardless if the guy was in right to call the LPI faction out or not, I still don't see why it's necessary to use this sort of method to defend yourselves.

By the way, I was part of the [LN] faction for at least, four active months. And I can tell you straight off that there isn't much difference between an LPI character and a Liberty Navy character when you look at what they are doing in-game. To be honest the only difference I see is that we fly Guardians and you fly Liberators, and maybe we deal with certain situations a bit differently, but we all share the whole "Go do this, go help there, escort here, watch here, blablabla." However, I should not be forced to keep my mouth shut just because I haven't had experience with the LPI faction itself, this has been my problem in this thread.

And your comment about having a "superior attitude" that's kind of funny you know when you look at the way you and other members of the LPI faction have replied to comments in this thread.

Also I do enjoy your little personal attack in the end there which you had to add into your post to make it look better, again, who's the one acting all superior here, hmm?
