Even though Felix had predicted this wedding to be a disaster, he was still surprised that the ceremony just went bonkers in such short amount of time.
"What a waste of time," Felix said in disappointment, "glad that's over with, now where's that Mal guy, I have some unfinished business with him."
He caught sight of Mal leaving the chapel in a hurry. Felix immediately got up and chased after him and managed to get to him just before he leaves the site.
"Hey pal," Felix tapped Mal on his shoulder, "I have a fairly good idea of what this 25 million credit transaction is for, I don't know you and I don't care about your intentions. Please take your credits back, I'll not accept this bribe."
Felix handed over his datapad to Mal. He couldn't read Mal's face, was it approval or was it disappointment?
Mal froze, with Felix's datapad in his hand. Felix added, "You know, I might be a corporate scumbag, but I'm an honest and conscientious corporate scumbag. You seem like a mellow fella, maybe I can negotiate a timeframe in which you can renovate this chapel to Sirius standards and prevent it being shut down by force."
