The overloaded Saber screamed out of the Gran Canaria's atmosphere, the two inside it's very, very cramped one-man cockpit running for their lives as unpleasantly powerful SAM projectiles and laser cannons tried to knock them out of the sky.

"Heeeeelp meeeeeeeeee..."Eddie whimpered, his undersized frame curled up into the position known as 'Fetal' on Willow's lap.

"If you pee on me I swear I will pop this cockpit and let you suck vacuum!" Willow hissed, jerking the stick to the left as a battery of Nova missiles flashd past. "Now SHUT UP, and LET ME FLY, DAMMIT!"

Eddie curled up tighter.

The blue atmosphere of Gran Canaria fell away, and willow breathed his well-earned sigh of relief.

"Is it over?"

Three more Nova missiles screamed over the port wing.

"AAAAAAAAAAGH! This is getting ANNOYING!"
