Another thing a noticed in that comparisson shot is that your model is very 'blocky' whereas the Dread has a much more curved and smooth feel to it. Especially in the nose, which seems to lack the blade like curve of the Dread's nose.
Also, looking at the size of it, you could easily clone the Dread engine section and put it on the Carrier without it looking small or stupid.
