After listening to Dr. Takar, John Holliday just nodded. Yes, the so-called "governments" around Sirius and even Gallia were always restricting research which is why he himself kept so much of his own research projects to himself and under lock and key. Even some quasi or criminal factions would take exception to some of these projects. When Dr. Takar finished, he applauded.

"I agree, Doctor," he said, "I agree totally. I have done much work on my own if for no other reason out of curiosity but due to possible repercussions from various groups, I keep it quiet. I think we need such a group." He again motioned to all present, "only together can we make this work in my opinion."

He then sat back, reviewing some highlights on his datapad. He then looked at Dr. Takar, "If you need funding, I will help."

Again, he sat back, yielding the floor to whoever needed it next.
