Also, I think that this would all get fixed if mercenary ID's were set to ninja their reputation of a faction to -9 whenever they killed a player who was flying with that faction, except for freelancer, given that they need to dock somewhere. then allow them to pirate, They'd need to be really careful about who they shot at.

Yes, I had seen that, and it is similar, and yes it probably gave me the idea.

Also I agree it needs to affect some ID's differently, like house navies and police.

As for your points on the /looted command could you elaborate a bit?
