The recent storyline update is rather interesting. I see what King Charles XI did there too, trying to gain the moral high ground with the "You abandonded us to die material." Much like the Czechs during the buildup to WWII.

Still, that is very clever leadership by the Gallian leader, instill confusion, and attempt to splinter opposition to themselves. But, outrightly demanding the surrender and outright puppetization of the Bretonian House may as well be a complete decleration of war. So, thats what is going to happen anyway, the Bretonians would never surrender until their entire military is battered. But it is getting closer, without Gallia getting involved.

With Gallia looking to scrap with Liberty, these events would be key for the entire Sirius sector. Liberty as it is even in the vanilla lore, attempted to 'get a headstart' in Sirius by launching early, and now the speculation of them being co-conspiritors to genocide in Sol is going to make things very bad domestically. But what Rheinland will do is fundamental. Will they push the initiative and batter the southern sectors while Gallia inevitably encroaches the northern, and possible western sectors? Or will they sign a treaty with Liberty to end all hostilities and take up arms against the Gallians?

What of Kusari? With the coup at the highest levels, I expect to see a lot of dissent and splinter groups forming, and not only that, if things get too far, a bigger civil war. One that the Blood Dragons and GC would gladly jump in on. Although I am dissapointed that the Blood Dragons didn't directly have a hand in the coup, at least, no details were let on. And what does their new isolationist policies have for the rest of Sirius? Less trade? Closed borders?

The Nomads, lets not forget our lovable huggable alien caretakers. Those new gates scare the hell out of me, and the City in Newcastle? I expect that thing to fire up again and change the whole Bretonian House in an instant.

Think for a moment! Edge World Nomads can get to Kusari quite fast now. The Omega gate Nomads and Wild can get to Bretonian and Rheinland space very fast. Lets not forget Alaska and Minor being very close to Liberty too. Forget House Wars, they're building infrastructure to cut of the lines between all the Houses, isolating them.

Another theory, does the Nomads have access to the Gallian government? Think about it, if the Gallians time their attack, or even the Nomads to coincide with each other somewhat, all the Houses, including Gallia are in massive trouble.

This isn't war, this is outright extermination.

Sorry, after spending so much time cooking up theories in my Order RP for Trent, I kind of looked very far into the future of things and got paranoid.
