The Vultures

The Slither is a myth, a legend, and figure of imagination or so house militaries claim.
He is a man , a pirate, only to be known as Slither. Slither is a member of a organisation known as " The Vultures" this organisation was a secret, known only to the most dangerous pirates and mercenaries alive.

They killed everyone and anything that they thought were standing in the way of time. They believed that time was a gift from the gods, and shouldnt be altered. Who ever stood out of the crowd who seemed to be wanting to change beliefs and the course of time, were killed. " The Vultures" were a group who hide in the shadows watching every civilian as well as Military Officers such as Admiral Hale.

During the war between Bretonia and Kusari, a unknown, un-registered vessel was sighted in the taus only to be " The Vultures" secret hide-out, only this encounter wasnt ignored, Kusari sent their ships to investigate certain areas of sighting. One Bomber squad was deployed after a Kusari Weapon dealer saw a ship several meters away from Battleship Yamaguchi, as the ship was just out of range of the battleship as well as undetected by its scanners the bombers were sent to destroy the hideout. As KNF had the element of surprise, the bombers launched torpedos directly at the ships engines, causing half of the Vultures crew gone. Many systems were offline including Life support, Slither ordered his own "Team" to evacuate while the leader of the Vultures were left to die.

Slither and his team were left to rat in space 'till the end of time, or so they thought, several BAF scouts were launched from Battleship Macduff to investigate the sudden destruction of the hide-out. The Pods were beamed aboard and interrogated by BAF. Slither's men died during the interrogation for suspecting to be working along side Kusari. during a course of a attack from Outcasts as well as KNF, Slither and his last standing man escaped.

Slither's man "Bite" was killed, due to his belief that the remaining Vultures should stop the war between Kusari and Bretonia, Slither didn't agree with Bite, and so he killed him in his sleep.

Slither's where-about are unknown, rumour has it that Slither has searched for refuge in Planet Leeds Sewers, waiting for his time for Mercs and Freelancer to work for him yet again, and to counter the VIPs of Sirius who want to make it a better place.
its not clear but their job is to monitor rising problems, and not actually kill them.

With Slithers men KIA, Slither lonely cold heart dying of old age, it was time for Slither to take his last stand against time it self.

Ranking System

The ranking system of this faction in different from any other, however I find that it fits the factions RP perfectly.

The ranks are dependant on Reputation or Rep for short, the more reputation points you get the more higher you get.
You can receive bounty points by:

Role-playing with Slither himself ( on friendly terms )
Role-playing with a member of The Vultures ( On friendly terms )
Fulfilling Slithers bounties successfully
Attempting to fulfil Slithers bounties.


Rep Stage 1 ( 2 Points ) - Average Merc
A average mercenary who simply came across Slither bounty list, and
attempted to fulfil the bounty.

Rep Stage 2 ( 5 Points ) - Rising Member
A Mercenary who attempts to fulfil Slithers bounty contracts, as well as successfully fulfilling Slithers bounties.

Rep Stage 3 ( 7 Points ) - Standing Out
A Mercenary who stands out amongst the crowd who has attempted, fulfilled and RPed with a member of The Vultures / Slither.

Rep Stage 4 ( 10 Points ) - True Talent
A Mercenary which Slither has a eye for, and if that Mercenary continues his work, he shall be rewarded with a great honour.

Rep Stage 5 ( 10+ Points ) - A Chosen One
A Mercenary which has captured Slithers main aim, and has honoured every wish, the mercenary has respected Slither right from the first Rep Stage.
REWARD : Invitation to The Vultures hide-out.


Once you have accepted the invitation to become a full Vulture member. There are 3 Ranks more.

Vulture Membership - Predator
In-game contact with Slither, You can fight along side Slither. Have access to Slither secret Hide-out
Bounty Bonus : 500,000

Vulture Membership - Lord Talon
Same as Predator, but you have access to the Bounties. Once Lord Talon rank have been received the player has the title of Lord
Bounty Bonus: 1,000,000

Vulture Membership - King of Eagles
The King of all Vultures
Once this rank has been received the players has received the title of Master



Though during the Rep stages tags arent necessary you can choose weather or not to have them. If you choose to have a Vulture Rep stage tag, then it shall be : [\/M] VM = Vulture Merc

If you have reached Rep Stage 5, and you choose to decline the offer, but you want to keep your Rep stage tag ( [\/M] ) You have a new Rep Stage Tag : [\/] V = Vulture
