All sarcasm aside, I don't understand why everyone is complaining about Bretonia. The Kusari-based players should be the ones with the most complaining to do, as their activity will likely plummet with the war finished.

Just like Sina I as Kusari player actually prefer this. Cause now I spend 90% of my time flying between Leeds/Tau 31 and New Tokyo or the other way as pirates/BAF etc log and re-log. No matter where I was I always got some PMs from the other area that I should be there.

Finally, there's the issue of balance. Are weapons going to be rebalanced so that Gallics and non-Gallics have an equal footing? And more importantly, how long does it take to kill a Gallic battleship with three Challengers?

Which weapons/ships are not equal? I kind of fail to see the big issues.

Gallic BS can kill Bret BS 1vs1 head on yes, that's kind of the only "inbalance", but actually it's same situation like Kusari BS vs Bret BS head on.

Gallic Cruiser is huge and not so fast, specially compared with Bret Dessie.
Gallic GB is 99% same as LIberty GB in all stats and size.
Gallic Bomber is very similar to GMG bomber
Gallic VHF is a bit slower than Chimaera and a noticeably bigger, though with slightly better dodging and harder to hit shape.

GRN 5.88 guns do ok damage, but use a lot of energy and are not very fast (650 m/s).
GRN 2.00 guns have good speed, but damage is not that big

GRN has to use 8.33 shieldbusters, which have certain disadvantages compared with 4.00 debs (less dps, need more shots to hit, less speed).


Killing Gallic battleship with 3 Challengers will take about same time as it takes to kill Liberty Carrier with 3 Barghests... which is... not very long.
